if the mods think they are in the wrong place, dont worry, they will just get moved to the critique section. this section is for pro and almost pro work, not for anyone who says their work is finished just incase you didnt know. for the work itself, i do think you have some nice things working for you, you seem to put a lot of thought and detail into your work, which makes it fun, some things that i think you might want to look into are adding more tone to all of these. your foreground and back ground are not seperating very much to the viewer, by adding more tone to certain areas it will also make it easier to form a focal point, so our eye knows where to rest, good luck on the forums

You've set your values down very nicely with the pencil shading! These would be very easy to paint digitally or in watercolor---very nice process. They look great just as pencils, also. A lot of people are just pencil artists in the comic book industry and have others color their work anyway---you've got it all set up to do that. Great job, I like the characters and the linework. The concepts are awesome and the perspective is right on. I want to see more =)

I really like these drawings. The only weak point i found is the way you draw the hands ( check your first two artworks..) but the shading looks cool...

    Hi, welcome to CA!

Some of these are splendid, you have a great eye for detail. The strongest for me are images 3 & 4. You have made the edges sharper and it stands out better from the page. Are you just using a standard HB pencil for these?

I would create more depth by using a nice dark pencil (like 4B-6B). I think that then you could create more dramatic shadows and help your figures stand out from the page a lot better. Some are very wishy washy because the overall colouring is very light and smudgy. Creating some shadows would help pick out certain details and draw the viewers eye to certain aspects of each drawing.

Hope that helps...oh by the way, it would be great to see you start a sketchbook in the 'Sketchbooks' forum from seeing these. I'm sure it would be really great.

Your art is excellent! You have a great pencil technique, can shade very well and have a good eye for anatomy and scenery detail... my only critique, which I'm only saying to try and be helpful, is that your scenes and poses are often a little straight-on and static looking, like these were statues instead of living people; just another notch up on the dynamics of your scenes and they'd be perfect.

Good stuff - I think part of the problem is that you are using the same kinda face on the girls. They all have pouty lips and dark eye liner. It's a set look that works( I use it myself) but gets tired quick.

try drawing a bunch of girls that look nothing like the ones you know how to draw.

You can tell by your work that you are going to get really good soon
