    Good idea regarding the touchups.

    What is a CV? :noob:

Jodali, did you use GoogleSketchup for that?

Also, in Vista, either change User Account Control settings, or turn the whole thing off to get rid of that asking permission crap.

Or reinstall XP, it uses less RAM than Vista anyway.

i think theres a semantic difference. im pretty sure a resume is a list of the jobs you have had, whereas a curriculum vitae includes everything - your wor experience, education, extracurricular activities, special skills etc. but yeah, effectively im talking about a resume

ANd jodali, Vista is the killer man. I uninstalled it from my new comp and run xp. Also, the wacom guys when they do live events on the cintiq in australia, always have dualboot and boot to xp. Vista is just too shitty at this point in time.

Curriculum Vitae is called in all the world, but in the US everybody knows it like Resume, it was renamed at some point in time, I had to change it on mine when I got here.

In regards to Vista, Jodali, I use Vista Ultimate 64 (for a year now), it would ask you if you want to use the program for the 1st time, in that same Dialog Box, there's a Checkbox, check it and it shouldn't ask you again.

I don't have any problems at all, with XP I had to format my computer at home more than 6 times in 5 years I used it, it totally screws up your system after a while; I've felt Vista as reliable and stable as Windows 2000 and improved.

thanks for the vista advice everyone, so far I'm not a big fan.

I did not use any external 3D program for this. 100% CS2. sketch > 3 point perspective (basic box shaped lines you saw in the last one) > in CS2, Vanishing Point filter with a black and transparent brick image > once they were all aligned in perspective they were used as a mask so I could paint the bricks and grout separate from each other, its a bit time consuming at first but it ends up being easier to put the texture and lighting in later in the image, which I had to do a few times. vanishing point is somewhat 3D, but thats all I used.

    not done yet, almost

Wow, Dald you really pull it out, I was wondering what the function was going to be for that pit, a BLOODY WATERFALL, how clever and marvelous, great idea.
