I having a problem where in some forums (I've only actually noticed it in the Art Crusade sub forums and threads) where I do not have permission to post attachments. Some people can post attachments there, some cannot. I have permission to post attachments in most other forums (I haven't found any other sections yet where I'm not allowed to post attachments) but not in any of the Art Crusade ones.

Hmm I also sometimes try to log in, type my name and password and get the page that says 'redirecting' and 'thanks for logging', but when it loads the forum page I'm still not logged in. I have to close IE and restart it to be able to log in properly. Happened to me 2 or 3 times already.

Not sure if this is a bug, but I noticed that despite the fact that there are new posts today, the following forums do not show a solid triangle indicating updated postings:

Form: i dont know what could cause that. it could have just been a glitch in the system while we were updating something. If it happens again though be sure to post again and ill have someone look at it.

yoitisi: that sounds like it might be a problem with your intenret program
s "cookie" set up where it wasnt refreshing the information, this can also be a problem with your actual service provider's dns being too slow to refresh the data on the site.


as for the attachment issue in the art crusade, i have adjusted the permissions to fix that.

Administrators A bit of heads-up. Telia, a major ISP in the Nordic countries as well as net-provider for many ISP's in northern europe, is currently having some sort of dispute with whomever it is that is the net-provider for Massiveblack.com and conceptart.org (note, the net-supplier, not the ISP). During this time, a bunch of people will have difficulties to come here as there will continuously be a "server cannot be located" error. The only way I myself can go online here is by using something called www.unblocked.org, which allows me to use another net-provider to surf temporarily. A fair deal of Nordic people are on these boards, and I thought this might be of interest for those wondering where we went. According to Telia (I had a chat with them today) there is no known fix-date for this issue. If possible, I'd like to know what company it is that is the net-provider for this site, as to give the newsapers the info. Not only CA and MB's sites are affected by this, but other large communities as well (such as, for instance, Gaiaonline apparently, according to the wifes co-workers). Also, anyone who knows someone who is having the issue to get to CA, lives in Sweden, Norway, Finland or Denmark and have Telia, please let them know about this issue so they wont tear their hair off in frustration whilst doing everything through viruschecks to formats...

I had "Server cannot be located" since Friday and I'm from northern part of Poland. There was something like this before but never for so long. I thought I was banned but if that happened, I would propably get some message or at least I could enter main page.

It finally worked after installing and running some free "anonymous browser". There are propably some limitations though. I hope it's going to be fixed soon.

This is because some links use the www at the beginning of the URL and some don't.
The cookies seem unable to work for both URL types,
so if you're logged in www.conceptart.org the conceptart.org links will log you out,
and if you're logged in conceptart.org the www.conceptart.org links will log you out

Is anybody having problems with instant email notifications?
They have been working only sporadically for me for the past month.

@Nrx: Same here, it works only once in a while, sometimes with a few weeks delay.

A bug that happened to me the last two times I updated my sketchbook:
When I post the update I end up on a blank page. The thread is updated
but it isn't bumped up the sketchbook section and it doesn't show up in
my subscription list. The only cure is to delete the last post and post it
again - inputting all attachments again.

There's a smiley with a canadian flag that shows up as a huge picture of someone's artwork instead of the tiny smiley. But that just might be my firefox freaking out (although I have cleared cache many times)

When looking at my control panel, on the left there's an "Upload" link.
I get this error when I visit that page:

Why is it only some images shown in conceptart.org/search actually link to the thread they came from? A lot of them link to http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=0 which is a non existent thread.

When looking at another users profile the link "Find all posts by..." works fine but "Find all threads started by..." only seems to work for some people. Most of the time it says I forgot to fill out the captcha and "are you human" questions.... wait... I think it only does that when I'm not logged in. Still I think you shouldn't need captcha jus to do a simple search by artist name.

Feature Requests:
Put a link somewhere so I can quickly access my profile (as others would see it) so I can quickly find all posts made by myself. Maybe make the "Welcome, thinsoldier" link to the profile page.

Make ALL images found on conceptart.org/search link not just to the thread but to the exact post where the picture was attached. Often an image will take you to page 1 of a 18 page long thread and the image you want to see is on page 9, so it takes quite a while to find.

In forums like "its finally finished" you have thumbnails next to some threads. Could you include those thumbnails in the rss feeds for the forums?

Would you consider generating rss feeds on a per thread basis (that would probably be overkill I guess)?

To help people "follow" their favourite artists would you consider adding another rss feed to the user profile pages so we could be notified of when that users starts a new thread? If not an rss feed maybe integrate it somehow with buddy lists?

I've been trying to change my Gallery thumbnail for days. It never accepts the change. I thought it was maybe a temporary bug, so I just kept trying the next day, but so far the problem remains.

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem but all the galleries up top have vanished except for the blank ones and the ones that say 'you could be here so draw'. The place image box (box with the little png marker in upper left hand corner) appears for a second but then they all start to disappear one by one until only those are left. Issue started about 3 or so days ago.

I tried it twice, once with my sketchbook and once in the critiques section. Both times, I've been thumbnail-less and look like a complete n00b (even though... I technically am...)

I keep getting a "Database" error which seems to affect the entire site and shutting me out. My computer also occasionally tries to download the .php files whenever I'm trying to post a reply or something. I'm using Firefox, does anyone else get these problems?

Hey, i've been a member for some years now and the first time i've got this problem,
my IE can't fully open the CA pages.

It writes "Done but with errors" with this lil yellow sign, more over i can't click the any of the buttons (add link, add image etc.)
Maybe it's only me but i've already tried to change settings checked the java and more and it seems ok.

Hope you can help me.
