Hey everyone,
I've been a member for over a year and never before have I seen so much improvement and variety of work. ♥
I love to draw so I'll post up my old sketchbooks from a few months here and hopefully update regulary with my newest work soon.
Teribly sorry for the horrible anime style drawings this this first sketchbook, it's just before I start college.

Here's the section of my new sketchbook that I got under a month ago.
I've started college now in Stamford studying Art & Design for my dipolma to get into university (hopefully to take Illustration!)
The morning after I drew this I was involved in a bus crash where a car hit into my college bus and he died unfortantely. I had this strange dream of waking up on an empty bus with broken things everywhere and when I got out, it was like zombie war or something....really random..
I'm a big Devil may Cry fan ♥

Some coloured work!
Got to sprinkle some colour here! Life isn't all black and white!
Well, maybe a little dark >.>;
A collaboration with a good friend on mine, DivineStar.
She did the lines, I did the colour.
Fashion poster for my textiles project (totally didn't need to do it but I wanted to), based off an awesome artist Cecilia Carlstedt's style of using less colour and placing texture in certain areas.
I'm still learning to try and make faces
1) realistic
2) like they're not a cut/paste job, has anyone got any tips?
Assault demon from Devil May Cry 4, I'm looking forward to save up for a PS3 and getting the game.

....Wow oh man hello everybody who breezes through and turns their nose up at the awful anime styled drawings I did. I've been at university and studying and now overseas studying French Comics in Belgium. Most of my stuff IS illustration based but I would love to get to deep into concept design. I could probably do with a desktop, not a piddly laptop. Anyway, just some work.

Wasteland project.
I realise that the last few years I've been a bit of a slump in trying to figure out where and what style I want to go with. I discovered that the anime style I tried to do at the start didn't work out for me. I really enjoy doing semi-realistic style and I intend to focus on that now for my final major project. So I hope I can post up more work on this and hopefully get some constructive crit on my stuff. :3
Sadly, I have a cheap laptop which struggles to use photoshop and I don't think my colours are that good. so lots of photos of sketches instead.

stupid use of lens flare is stupid.
I wanted to try and get an atmosphere and this was mainly a background practise but it looked really plain. I use reference for the horse. I should do lots of practise sketches.

I visited the museum of natural science in Brussels today and did a done of research drawings, all stolen from my teacher and possibly never to be returned from her. I did however take a lot of photos of the horned mammals and practised giving horns to a character to see if it would give different personality.

Some very strange birds with girls heads and very large eyes. I'm not sure at the colours at all and might make them black. My laptop couldn't handle the file and crashed way too many times! D; I'll stick to b/w for a while.

I bought one of Massive Black's online download videos. One of Jason Chan's tutorials in using value before adding colour. I tried experimenting with some heads.

I really enjoy drawing environments but using colour is something I struggle with. I have just finished a year of Bandé Designée (comic art) course in Belgium and I've really forgotten how to colour and use light sources. I should go find some tutorials and do some practises.

Trying to work on one layer and build it up. I've been very dependant on using lines. So I had ago at trying to paint over the linework and work more on colour.
