Thanks DK ... its almost like its two different paintings. I felt that kind gave to the compostion as well. At least the feeling of fishing and not knowing what this little girl had gotten herself into.

thanks rub you have been a good friend and have helped me out alot!
1 hour twenty mintues. Ive been messing with some of whits brushes and my own ... i didnt like them in the past but now that i have learned about flowish kinda ... i mena i at least use it now these brushes are much better. I started messing around with some of my own too and i think we are going to see some major improvments if i can get a good 20 speed paints and make my 1000 and more brushes cut down to a good 50 that i like alot. ok ok like 300 of those are shapes for shape sifting works but still its pritty pathetic. Plus ive decided i dont like having brushes like trees that were made from a photo they just never look right to me i get pissed with those kind of brushes.

Ok so i was messing around with brushes and presets which im dumb and never used presets before .... YARG anyways i came up with this in like 50 mins ... Its nothing to special but the colors seemed perfect together and then the building was offset and that seemed perfect and it was just so interestingly weird it fit together and i like it alot so ... ughh just look
This one was color altered

Well this basicly is what i fiddled around with all day trying to make the colors right but i just kinda scribbled this away in like 2 hrs

Dude these are sweet really seeing great improvement in your work. Keep it up and haha your room is about as organized as mine hehe.
Hey, you.
Long time, no post. Well, me posting here, anyways. You've kept on posting nicely.
Anyways, I'm feeling too lazy to go back and figure out where ever it is I last posted, so I'll just do some critiques for the stuff on this page.
Post #122- The hand wrapping around the weapon looks off, like the arm might be at the wrong angle. The weapon top is cool, and really nice in the detail, but I'm not sure it matches the thicker style of the rest of the work, if that makes sense. I really love the hem on the (my vocabulary fails me, so forgive me for calling it a skirt, I know that's completely the wrong word) "skirt." The armor for the torso looks amazing and I love the detail, but where the "skirt" comes down to makes it seem like she should be taller. One thing I thing would add to it (and this is a completely arbitrary personal preference thing) but I think it would unite it better if the "loincloth" metal pattern thingy for the front were repeated with a section down the middle of the shoulder guards. All in all, very awesome piece.
Your next character looks really awesome and interesting, but there are a few things I would change. First, his cape looks wrong, because it should be wider based on how it's attached to the shoulder facing us, and would need to wrap around so it can attach to the other shoulder in the same way. It's not long enough for that, in it's present angle. Of course, it might be that it does attach in a different way on that side, but then it should be made more obvious so it doesn't look like it should, if that makes sense.
In dealing with negitive space and making the composition more pleasing, I'd suggest that he have the sword down and out to his side. The current hold looks a bit awkward, and would be far more fitting for a smaller weapon, like a knife.
All that said, the armor/outfit really is intriguing, particularily the face mask and the peices coming up from the shoulder guards.
The black buck is well done. It seems atypical from your usual style in the fine detail, and looks highly realistic. I'm very impressed with it. The one thing I would say is that the angle of the head on the neck looks a touch off to me, but that's about the only criticism I can think to offer.
#140 is really nifty, it reminds me of the work of Andrew Jones. Same for #142, with the moth. That one is really beautiful, actually. I'm running out of criticism, but not compliments. Your last enviroment there is really amazing looking, the style is something I really like, but don't think I've seen done very much elsewhere. I'd love to see more in that style.
Keep up the awesomeness.

well thank you very much for all the critiques and compliments and comments from everyone. Sorry i havent posted in such a long time i had to send my laptop in for repairs and its come back to me 3 times not working correctly so its been really really frustrating. Taven i feel you on the characters ... one of the things i really really need to work on are anatomy. Im thinking of purchasing jason chans videos for character designs as well i think it would help me to look at characters in a different perspective.
I hope i can get back to work soon.
Hi!
