    Hardedge: thanks!! ..don't know quite what contour drawing is but there sure are alot of contours and not much else in this sketchbook x) needs more paint!
    Tortuga: cheers dude! great success. I used to have stories for every drawing I made x)

    failing at colouring previous one... I need to pause that and do something mroe simple. more (locally) monochromatic. hoping to do this one in colour!

    Nice lose lines with very clear control in them. I would suggest drawing more hands and feet. do a few studies here and there and it will increase the clarity in your forms.

    I can't decide whether to demand color or slobber all over your delicious lines. ohman. I love how you get some double duty internal lines working to define volume and suggest shadow. Ffffffuuuuuu NEEDMORE

    OmertA: I ref alot! (but don't copy the poses/angles from ref which makes for more challange and learning!) and so should everyone! \/

    I did a 3D bust sculpt in zbrush for my brother for an opengl course assignment. will produce maps for low poly mesh next week for that and see how his parallax mapping works out (I keep finding things to do instead of DWIV... not into it this year for some reason :/)

    I'm almost as happy with the results of that matcap material too! it's in this folder on my dump as oxidised_05_nim.ZMT. there's also a turnaround video of this dude there which I did by stop motion lol OTL using pngshot which hijacks the print scrn key and saves as png on drive in user specified filename formatting and then optionally uploads it to an ftp server and copies url to the uploaded file in clipboard! AWESOME! >:U9
    (xnview or irfan view ar good for batch processing like crop, resize, convert, rename etc) then I used virtualdubmod to make image sequence into xvid video.

    Nice harem! Your grip on the human form is fantastic as always, not much I can help with there, You seem to be hiding almost all the hands in that piece though and the breasts of the woman in the top right seems a little to perky. Other then that perhaps you should try to vary the body types more, you seem to stick to one shape overall, keep posting and get your ass back on the DW train! Oh, and that z-brush head rocks!

    Captain Sir Lady Nim;

    As an envoy of the Bildeberger group I hereby come to pronounce your harem pretty SWEET. However, might I suggest making the facial type somewhat more Arabic, as it will heighten the harem impression?

    Jove: thanks, always good pointers from you did some minor stuff: bear-type jew added; boobies fixed! Young Master Eton: just suggestion! and then the eunuch servants and guards shall be persian, the so-fars are continental posh guests yaow! MacTire: Thanks!

    using SAI.. I actually bugged the developer with a phony bug report about eraser switch using another tool than the ereser tool when I hadn't noticed the eraser is actually a second tool selecting ...thing so I only had to select the eraser while holding the eraser switch as he informed me... OTL... now I'm enjoying it immensely. no jagged lineart no matter zoom level when drawing (unlike ps). you stroke thin lines in 6% zoom or whatever, zoom in, and they're beautiful! and really nice and superior for line art in general :3 (stabilizer setting (lazy/tracy mouse) omgz inking..., vector layers (haven't really used yet.. seems really transparent and awesome). now if only the maker (one guy??) would implement PSCS-like brushes it'd kick sorry ass.

    was going to pick up my tactics rpg character collage piece and move it to SAI and redo all lines on vector layers but couldn't get it into SAI with my 2gb of RAM even at 5760x4800 (guess: SAI handles layers in memory less well than ps) so finally figured out a solution:
