Great stuff. I especially like the Butcher, great expression on his face.

Just a suggestion-- I looked at your portfolio and you might want to clean up those images a little bit-- get rid of some of the undersketching and missed lines. I think if you're showing stuff to prospective clients you might want it to be as polished as possible, just from a presentation standpoint.

I think you're going places. Know why I think that? Because you're sketching a LOT. I think that is the thing that separates people who are successful from people who aren't, not just in art but in any field.

Keep it up Nebo, just gotta push through all the hoops. The girl is looking pretty good, Really pick one central focal area for light sourcing and go from there.

make the cheek bones less prominent and also the point of the chin is to one side asif profile in view, rather than 3/4 that she is in. hope that helps?

Great stuff lilnebo. As DTP pointed out, the cheekbone should be less accentuated. She has a manly feel right now. Lower the top of the head too. And watch the curves vs the straight lines. The arm could use some more curvy love especially her right arm. The underarm is simply fully straight, makes the whole thing static and such. When studying arms your realise they looks a lot like like. you've got some kind of double tapering happening using curves. Or that's kinda my general rule. keep at it!

Lilnebo, Thank you for helping me with that "sig url" thing! I think i have finally figured it out. Now as to your last post, good drawing and composition, i am curious as to what you have in mind for the hanging elements, i look forward to your next post.

You remind me of myself ten years ago, just the sheer volume of work you're producing is impressive and it's the only way to improve really, draw and draw and draw. Keep it up!

I'll need to scan stuff in but here's some quick stuff I've been working on I guess

Some thumbnails for the previous teen challenge, never got it finished obviously. Worked on them today. I think I want to do something with the last guy:

Hey guys, been like a week
Had a bit of down time I guess is all. Just gotta keep reminding my self to have fun and not be afraid of failure/ bad drawings.

It's all cool though because now I just gotta work extra hard to make up for lost time

Sorry no time for replies right now, school tomorrow and homework and all that's still not done.

Haven't done much imagination stuff because I've been scared of the results. sad but true. Im over it now though.

Got some freelance work going but I can't show that right away, waiting for a conformation first. Also join a whole load of mods, so that'll keep me nice and busy too, no fear! haha

Damn art is so much more a mental game, so much more to it than just moving your hand and drawing.
    ================================================== =========

Still life, this killed me haha, first time all colour. And damn colours are confusing. My brother came and moved the thing I was painting and I got all annoyed lol, here it is, not going back to it anymore just gotta do a ton more others because it was pretty fun:

    Name: StillLife.jpg
Views: 439
Size: 77.7 KB

Here's that painting, to be honest Im just gonna work on it 30mins everyday, It's died out on me, I'll come back to it in 2 or so weeks full blast when I've improved my knowledge some more but for now progress on it is slow:

    Name: PoPView=(.jpg
Views: 453
Size: 263.0 KB

Too many oc sessions with people to upload
Got some awesome advice from krato that Im just going about applying, cheers buddy.

And I'll have to scan in pencil life drawings and all but that'll have to wait.

Thanks for the support guys, it means a lot. I am just trying to get myself away from all my bad habits and become totally obsessed with art haha.

Back to the regular updates now

Ah man, you're just going at it And yea, the first time u do a still life it will kill you hard Just keep doing em. As for ur painting, I think the head looks a little weird(you know, like an egg) and the chest is too flat. Remember that you're not coloring lines, you're painting masses, light and shadow! But wow, great job. Keep being intense and you'll be kicking our ass hardcore in a few years.

P.S. We gotta OC some time!

Making progress Nibras. On the chick one knock the values back on her face around the jaw. It's too strong, makes her look to manly. Watch your anatomy with the torso and arms. Deltoids if I am not mistaken go over the bicep bicep goes under towards the pit of the arm. be aware of how values fall on clavicle, and areas of chest and breast. Good luck with the Illustration. You will learn loads by doing a finished piece. It's always good to do studies. It helps you understand how to get things right in the beginning. It's important to get more developed, finished pieces in your portfolio. I am waiting to see you get more into environments. Take a step at a time though and develop and remember to have fun. You know I will back you up definitely. It's cool to see you progress this far. Keep going. Later Nibras.

Hey, keep on pushing! You could work on your anatomy and face construction a little more, but, nice sketches either way!
