Hell you're crazy aren't you? SO much massive updates. Took a while to take a look at themYour Loomis studies are paying off SO MUCH. Keep them going in that speed man. You're crazy... 58 pages. I mean, that is so much work.
Don't have any tips right now. Just keep going.

Whoa, the work you've put into this SB is incredible. I love how varied your studies are too.
Wow you have soooo much pages I skipped through your your mass studies where you have
hundredths of small drawings, crazy stuff. I really like how you represent #1618

As always thank you so much guys. The support is greatly appreciated. Finished exams and all those nasty things, just prepping for university now
Here's part of a folio I sent to uni, some of it won't fit and just isn't worth uploading. This is my mini folio so I'll be working on more pieces for the final folio.
New-ish (several weeks)
You're supposed to only been seeing features, thats why the face is painted out. This was just one of those sucky paintings
Oil Pastel
Older - couple of months

Thanks for posting your thought processes going into some of those portfolio pieces -- really interesting to look at! You've got a lot of great ideas going on. :)
Also good to see you're attending some life drawing sessions. Lovely line quality...
Keep it up!!
sweet stuff! good luck at Uni![]()
Thanks for sharing your SB in such detail. Good to see all the writing around your concepts.

There really isn't anything I can say that hasn't already been said in the other multitudes of pages in this sketchbook. What I will say is how impressive your dedication is.
Keep this up and you'll go far.
good to see you posting again! the latest life drawings are sweet, nice foreshortening in the guy lying down. good luck with uni!
It's great to see how your art evolves. Those latest sketchbook pages and life drawings are much more fresh approach. I like that you let it loose and tried different things instead of just filling pages with same old anatomy studies. Good luck with exams.
Right now I don't have much to suggest other than to not be afraid to lose or soften some edges more in painted stuff.
Keep it up.
I can see you have a very brought way of doing thins, that you strength.
And you can work clean which I have trouble with as you know.
GOOD stuff I like the different mediums you use, inspires me 4 sure !

Hey Nibras I just realized that you are Lilnebo! I used to lurk (and post a little) on here years ago and saw this sketchbook in its infancy and have finally come back - just wanted to say how much you've improved! Keep pushing!
Your buddy wants your update!
Give it to meeeeeeeeeeee!![]()
Judging by the amounts of excellent work you produce with every update, it looks like you are actually very confident in making a living as a professional artist in the distant future. The only explanation to this fact is that is actually possible to make a living as a professional artist in your country, which makes me feel rather envious for both your birthplace and your drawing skills.
I'm curious, how much attending life drawing classes costs to you? Lots of people at CA living in the US and EU attend such classes, so I can't figure out if either everyone is rich enough to afford them or these classes are so cheap that everyone can afford them anyway.

Thanks guys!
I've finished school and now I have a long summer holiday to hopefully do some good things. I also got into the Glasgow school of Art which was my first choice of university so I am very happy about that.
Here's some work that I actually photographed. I did a lot more for my final A-level assessment but I didn't get time to take many photos. Plus I spent most of the year doing stuff I really didn't enjoy just to "experiment"
This was actually going fairly well with the face in the middle and on the right, then I got to the upper left face and just couldn't do it. I was rushing and after about 2 hours of trying i let it be as it had to be assessed. I might go back and paint over it digitally
20 mins to practise for the above

Dan dos santos study:
Greg Manchess (I'm sorry)
Something on cardboard which was actually fun to do
Rob Rey Study (once again sorry for murdering your piece, if you guys haven't checked out his work do so. He is insanely good)
And finally, I learnt how to use masks so I was experimenting. I also learnt some "brush" techniques. It makes the whole process so much easier
That's all for now, I am working on a couple of things that I can hopefully upload for tomorrow. This is attempt #1102218381731 at keeping this sketchbook updated. To the CA guys, you reaaalllllly need to get that upload manager upgraded![]()
I recognize those people in the top painting.
And these are looking good. You're working hard. That's good too.
Be good and work more, yes.
