Hey Lilnebo, thanks for commenting!
You've got one hell of a sketchbook, loads of work. I think there is visible progress, your shapes seem to get more accurate. Good thing you're using loomis/bridgman.
Try to get more 'loosen up' a little, many of your figures seem a little stiff. Try out some dynamic poses and movement, just experiment a little.
Keep at it! you're going good. Anything else I've got to say has been said 10x before.

Omg someone shouldv'e told me!!! more trying at digi tommorow it's so fun even though they were only speed paints they were very fun.
Done the pear for shading practise, more costumes tommorow![]()
PAGE 9!!!!!!!!!!,
some gestures to keep me flowin and off of all those stiff poses and a really basic concept just very basic idea will work on it more tommorow.
It's meant to be a forrest tree monster thing.

wow. i admire you for not giving up. at 13 i had .. well no attention span to speak of
and now some criticisms: spend more time! i dunno i can't really tell that you've put a lot of time into anything. when i look at the hands, or that pear it looks very rushed, put a good hour into doing a page in your sketchbook, do some thumbnails before working on a bigger thing, try and express those fundamental shapes like spheres, cylinders, etc. it'll pay off big time.
keep it up lilnebo! youve got great potential! dont stop your studies!
hey thanks again fro stopping by my sb!! theres more updates if your interested..
Nice pear and that treemonster is still cool :p
Cheerio

For your age you are really good.
You make improvement and post a lot of different things.
I just can give you the tip to watch objects so you can find out was ist typical for it. (e.g Shadows) Your things from mind will get more realistic.
I wish you good luck, lot of fun and a lot of ideas.

Wow guys thanks for the c&cs, i sat down tody and done a digital study for 1 hour, and really over all the hard work of trying to improve and doing so many studies i've kind of forgoten how to just sit down for hours on once piece, doing this today was very fun. I wish i had more time to gve it a more finalized look but i gotta go to bed i've been working on the digi for 1 hour.
voestek: thank you, done and done
Reject-d: Lawl you inspired me to do some digi stuff and it was actully great fun
Chaunming:thanks!
Grizzthanks lawl i was hoping to get a bit more into it today but i got carried away.
warforce17:thank you very much.

I wish i could draw like this when i was 13.. Very good man, keep it up!

very good for your age. I don't know if anyone has mentioned it already, but your line work could be a lot less scratchy. Try drawing with a locked wrist if you don't already. Also, Bridgman has good examples of figures created with interesting lines
For your age you're really good!Keep it up ffs!
throtailer: thanks alot man
GentleFood3: Yea it's the pens and mechanical penils that make it seem scratchy but i'll try, thanks
Dannelf: thanky you now my aim is to be good for over my age lawl.
Heres my update for today digi is so fun........ can't get enough of it!!!
Well some doodles from mind 0 reference as you can tell.
First just me messing and trying to see how much i've improved or learned.
Second is a tree concept the one i was working on but now it looks much better done in mechanical but still just developing.
Might shade it more and get a better idea then try coloring it.
Last but not least eye studies and a portrait

aggggh todays update is ugly... some wips, and just a doodle or two lawl
That was another attempt at the tree concept this one turned out more to my liking so am gonne continue with it as i've started laying base for grayscale tips would be nice.
The ink doodle is just me starting out with what ever and just going through it's very liney lawl because it's pen....
enjoy the doodley ness, am going to continue with the guy holding the broken bottle and try and get it finished tommorow because it like it.
Thanks for all the comments guys they make me happy.

im seeing some more improvement, especially in that gymnast one, you can really feel the movement in that one, wat ever you did in that transfer it to the rest of their work.
your lines are still a bit fuzzy though, try slowing down whe you draw and really focus on the lines you put down. you will find out that lines are extremely important, especially the subtle ones.
good luck l8r.

Looking for work
hey, yea i would post all the time if i had access to a scanner at my mums, but im not that fortunate, so i can only can on fridays and weekened when im at my dads. anyway, ive updated now, so check it out
markey2d: Thanks and will try.
Harry: cool i've checked it
Ok so am angrey with my self, been busting my ass for almost 3&1/2 month and i've improved no where near as much as i would like to because am just not pushing my self enough so from now on thats going to change.
Am going to start by hitting my weakest points first.
Portraits, Hands, Anatomy, Light/value, Shading are what am going to start working on first.
From today till next sunday i want to do 70 portraits, which means 10 portraits a day and they will not be rushed. I'll throw in 1 life study of an object everyday to tackle to things at once. After 70 portraits and 7 1-2 hour life drawings that area will hopefully improve.
This is all i have for now but after i hit 1 week i'll start working on anatomy.
Going to browse Ca much less because i really need to be harder on my self and do more drawing. I'll post the 11+ drawings every night.
Right now here are just 2 portraits out of the 10 and some weird doodle which made me realise how small progress i've made....
Sorry about lined paper it's just i found it right in front of me nd just started drawing.
I seem to be taking 5 steps forward and 10 steps back guess i just gotta turn that around
1 portrait down 9 to go.....

I love the way you're frustrated about your own art
But remember art is like a HUGE pie. Take a small slice at a time. I know how you feel dude. I tackled colors without touching the values and the results were really deceiving. That's why I only concentrate on values and basics right now.
Good sign of working hard. Now I should learn that from you.
Just wondering did you reference with those portrait, it's a good try do the portrait practice. As you said, I think the point is not rushing through it.
BTW, those colour work looks nice. Keep it up!
Don't be angry with yourself in lack of improvement! as long as you keep on practising you will be better! don't lose hope!![]()
keep it UP!![]()
