havent posted in about a week, but ive been keeping busy and drawing my ass off. hopefully you guys will like this stuff.. . ive really been challenging myself and taking a lot of risks lately. comments and criticism are much appreciated

screwing around and tryin a little different approach

i got really inspired by bengal, so thats where these next few come from. the robot is.. . ..random. these were all done purely in painter 8. .... i think im gonna try coloring some of my sketches next

these next two are inspired by the great yoji shinkawa. .. ..because hes the man

    *faints*

    (I can see em!)

These are just amazing! I am loving every new sketch, they are all different. You show a very good technique for creating dark areas, the crosshatching. You use that very well to define the figure a lot!

You seem to be off on a good start on that first color drawing, you really have a feel for the colors. It looks great, but the face seems a bit to masculine. Maybet thats whats bringing a frown to your face .

The bengal inspired ones are fantastic! You really captured his style with the eyes and colors (although they don't seem to be watercolor-y enough). These look amazing. I can't believe you can just adopt someones style like that so easily. Same with the last two, very admirable.

Someday, we will be adopting youre style. Have you started a sketchbook here? They are great fun, and I would be sure to comment on it all the time .

    mos.

::::EDIT:::: Ohhh I just found your sketchbook, although I'm having trouble viewing the images previous to the sixth page, maybe you shoul change hosts? ::::EDIT:::

Erlier today there was a bunch of red crosses, but now they are up and running.

and it is a shame when your stuff doesn't work cause it is just soooool cooooll!
your noses are one of your trademarks, and they are so full of 3 dimensionality when done in pencil, but I think you overdo them when coloring. the 4rth girl being an example.

    keep it up!

I'm getting red crosses just now. Hopefully I'll be able to see them later though.

The reason you can see them but no one else can is cause your computer's cached them in the temporary internet files, so goes there instead of to the site. I don't know why some people seem to be able to see them now, but if they got them to work once then the same would apply, the images would be cached on the computer.

you have a unique line quality in your work, almost like tracing, since most of the lines don't look like a single stroke but alot of small ones. not commonly seen, see if you can take this further!

those are all indeed very nice rendered...line quality is perfect, but something is bothering me amongst some of them(f.ex.the guy with the swor, who btw has an excellent pose):i think the upper part of the body is too short...better to say i think the hips are set up too high.besides i see nothing to crit.good work:chug:

Hey man. Ive seen a lot of your stuff and have never replied. I like some of it, but one thing that I think would help out a lot would be head studies. Not that theres anything wrong with yours, they're fine, but it seems like you draw the same face(or close to) over and over. It'd be cool to see you switch it up every now and again.
