Incinerated: I like Android's stuff a lot but I don't think you can really compare it. The way I'm thinking about brush usage and creating weird textures is definitely inspired by him though

With the way your environments have been lately. I can't wait to see you combine the two (character and environment).

Your style remains constant across the board.
From what it looks like you use a huge assortment of custom brushes.

Hey Mat thx! Yes I do have tons of custom brushes. They're usually my 'streamline that workflow' answer to a visual problem. I just simply refuse to paint truckloads of detail by hand (call me lazy, or not Asian enough :p) so I try to recreate the suggestion by making a brush for it and then accentuate a couple of those details with 'normal' labor. Which in the end can take up just as much time actually, but the process is way more fun

Would you mind sharing those brushes?
The reoccurring patterns in your paintings give them quite an interesting aesthetic and I'd like to to know how exactly that plays out ^^

Brush-up of a CHOW from a couple of weeks ago.

Xelar: No I don't mind at all, the thing is that you'd be better of with my tool-presets I guess. My brush-library is too cluttered with a lot of stuff which I hardly use (the bulk of M@, Goro, Goodbrush etc.) but my brush tool-presets are a bit more easy to grasp I hope. Still a lot I'm afraid :p And CS5 only.

Wow. Your stuff is amazing! I love it. Looks a bit like the direction I'll go to more, because my stuff is too unsharp and undefined but I also like to play with colours and shapes as your stuff looks like. Had great fun looking through this one here. Keep it up!

Charmer: Use a lot of lasso-tooling lately to get those crisp edges, that might help

Mr. Ebony: All the painting is done in photoshop, and I use some alchemy and illustrator every now and then for brush or pattern creation.

Yeah, much better! I think you should actually just stick to gestural for a wee bit. Your rendering skill is great, now get dynamic posing down and you'll be ridiculous!
