ArghosRo Thanks a lot man, I will!!

    surus Thanks man no problem!

rodrigo! Thanks a lot dude, your oils are soo nasty, thanks for stopping by!!!

ji-li Thanks! I'm glad you're inspired, just keep at it!

    Metal Fingers Thanks bro!

Ludic Thanks man, oils are great for getting a lot of edge variation!

fudgeloaf Thansk! The skin texture came from a combination of texture brushes and a texture blender. I still want to work on that piece some more, I think.

    oren90 Thanks!!

Ok here's a something I'm still considering a WIP, I think it's going somewhere but it isn't quite there. The pinkish light almost feels like a physical substance instead of a light source, so I'd like to keep working it some more. Maybe turn those crazy brush strokes in more dudes fighting... and some sketchbook pages.

Nice work man, digging the oil portrait a page back.. Latest diggy looking tasty as hell!

Trying to focus more on my portfolio and personal work than some of my ridiculous school assignments..
Totally hear you on that. Keep a positive attitude, try to find a way to get as much out of school as possible. It's tough as hell, I know how disruptive it can be.. but heck, you won't be stuck for ever. Keep looking forward Do what you love!

About the pinkish substance, i think it looks awesome the way it is, but if you want it to be lightning, it shouldn't look so focused and be a bit smoother. . The sketchbook pages are really good, envy your lines .

envy of your sketch book that I have! good stuff man. light from the magic on the "I'm still considering a WIP, I think it's going somewhere but it isn't quite there." piece, is a good starting point. I know Darrken has good tut on fire and Jason Chan for massive black has a good tut on his hero character design vid about fire. Aside from those what I have learned was to smack the middle with the britest bright with out going full white, then gradient out from there. there is also a filter on the layer properties that allows for inner glow that can assist.

great work. just subscribed. excited to see more

Nice man! On the book reading picture, I think just refining where that light is hitting on the guys would help make it feel like more of a light source. Would that left forearm really be having that much pink light hitting it? Little things like that make it feel more like a substance and less like soft ambient light. The other thing is, breaking the light shapes into broader shapes here in there with more fall out and soft edges could help. Sorry if that was a bit rambly, keep it up man!

I'm liking these latest sketches. Keep it up, your stuff is getting awesome.

Well, I just need to say WOW!

Your work is just great! I love your sketches, you block out the shadows and forms so well. I really like your paintings, the pallets and the style are really astounding. And to top it all off, it is awesome to see just how much you have improved since you started this sketchbook! I mean, you were good when you started this, but now you are awesome!

Thanks, I hope you keep working hard! I will certainly be watching!
