Thanks a lot everyone, glad you guys like my recent stuff. Here's another one, based on mistborn again. Last piece I was able to finish just before the Rising Stars deadline. Anyone else enter their work?

This started as a typical old school fantasy illustration but eventually ended looking like a comic book villain haha, guess there's no harm in merging the two genres? Steps below!

Love the last piece, you're right its like a cross between Spawn and a fantasy villain. Love the texture and rendering! I submitted to Rising Stars as well, but knowing you did as well dashes my hopes haha! Good luck!

Lovely step by step ~ and a cool character & he must have a grip of steel given the muscles in his lower arms

Save the sexy light, energy and texture the torso/trunk and the hand are my favorite parts I think, and the glasses.
