    Hey!

Nice stuff. The colouring is great, the lines too, but the proportions, as was said earlier, could use some work. I can only imagine how great they would be if you keep studying your anatomy (which you already seem to be doing, good job on that!).

wonderful stuff you have here. really liking how you treat skin tones, that's always a tough one to make look right.

Very nice studies, keep on pushing and do more of those posemaniacs. I feel your shading is progressing a bit, do you intentionally use only one shadow tone like in those bammes studies? they looked really good but you might try to add lighter and darker shadows as well for experiment

I really like that oil painting of the "little tiger plushie"; it's just really nice to look at, haha. "Swamp" and the studies from this page look great too. I think one thing you need to watch for is the eye placement in faces from your imagination: the eyes often seem too high in these. Good luck!

Demo, thanks man I'll check it out.

    Yngling, cheers

GusTheRobot, thanks! skintones are indeed hard but so much fun!

Nettle_Mountain, thank you! the Bammes piece are "just studies" and it's hard to make nice subtle shadow variations from photographs :/ hope I can attend life drawing soon, but I'll be on the lookout for nice shadows anyway.

    hp, thank you

nolarc, thanks eyes have been mentioned, I'm gonna be more careful there.

    Must practice more!

    Hi Kristina,

Your anatomy work is coming along great, my only observation is that the legs on some of your figures look a little short in proportion to the rest of the body.

some of the last sketches look really nice!

i would say just try to vary up your line weight a bit more with the anatomy studies.

hp, thanks I'll post some charcoal sketches soon. It's a great medium for drawing expressive lines *_*

Leysan, thank you Nah, those last studies are almost all done from anatomy books like Bammes, or photographs, for learning. I'll post some un-referenced ones later.

Icedearth15876 , thank you So far I practice humans only, but I have time!

I spent most of yesterday and today playing Caesar III, actually  And it's fun. The career game is quite a challenge sometimes; now I finished the Aedile scenario. Any other C3 players out there?
