Nutella: Thanks so much for the kind words. I'm truly flattered. As for the client, it was a lucky shot on my part. You see, it's my dad's company, but they later hired me again just because they were happy with my previous work.
The reilly method is a quick sketch drawing which grants some real nice elegance. Check out these (Especially the last one):

Memo213: Thanks alot! To tell you the truth, I've learnt more from studying artists here at conceptart than any other place. I rarely find the time to do hardcore studies (Which isn't a good thing) so I just find my inspiration here instead. Also there are some great tutorials here that have taught me alot.

    Thanks for stopping by!

Finished two pieces today. One is more of a sketchy-type of thing where I just painted my hearts desire. The other is a request from a friend. It's from reference, and I call it "Oliver Twist - Revisited".

And here's a GIF of the progress

EDIT: It seems the attachment manager is being dodgy. I'll upload the images later.

Quick one, but this newest piece you have looks very much like the Korn album in a way "Follow the Leader" ... a little darker though

Long time since I've uploaded anything, so here's to breaking a habit.

I've applied to the school of architecture here in Oslo, for industrial design. Been working my ass off with these application tests. The tasks were pretty vague so it was quite difficult. Any comments?

This is a little somethin somethin from my freelancing work. It's basically a whole bunch of mini-comics that describe technology offered by a company called never.no. I've also designed a game with them, which I'll try to find a link to.

Wow, I haven't been here in ages. A lot has happened since my last update. I am now studying for my masters degree in industrial design at The Oslo School Of Design And Architecture. Super stoked that I got in. They only accept 30 applications each year!
So I've been real busy with school and stuff.

    But enough jib-jab. Here's a self portrait.

I like your photo referenced stuff. Your Selfportrait looks ok. The only thing might be the mouth. Do some studies on how lips strech and follows face muscles. The background in your SP looks like it has photo grit. I think it would look bettr if you use the same red for the outline as for the text. Keep working on it I think its got potential.
When I look at your work from imagination I see you lack alot of anatomy knowlage and the proportions are often off. It's always good to do figure studies and draw from life. It will help you with your imaginary work. Hope any of this is helpful. Cheers.

B-Man: Thanks alot! It means alot to have such a talented artist as yourself give crits. I did notice that something was strange about the mouth, but I was working with a photo as reference so I just rolled with it. I took your advice though, and changed the mouth altogether. I think it looks a bit better now. As for the outline, I'm just going to have to disagree with you. I've fallen in love with that colour scheme Thanks again!

Also, here's a tribute to the beautiful Norwegian Girls of winter. No reference used, which makes me kinda happy with the result.

Some great stuff going on, I love how you use colour and you can see improvement in your portraits.
As a small crit, Anatomy can still use some work, but who here doesn't need to work on it? xD

    Anyways, keep up the progress.

    Just a lil' DSG.

Herbert loves feet. I mean, he REALLY loves feet.
It's not at all that strange when you take into consideration that that is what he was programmed to do. He spends most nights laying in the foot of an unsuspecting person's bed and quietly licking and slothering all over their toes. He is, in effect, a living sack of spit.
When asked about whether or not Herbert was happy with his purpose in life, he contently replied "Alot of people view this job as something your average Joe could cope with. What people don't realize is how much work that really goes into suckling on people's toes while they sleep."

I really dig that photo set and that hair dryer concept! Which markers did you use for those shades of gray on that concept? Also your portraits kick ass. Not much to criticize, sorry for that.

Saku: For the blow dryer concepts I used copic markers (The cool grey scale), and touch-ups in photoshop.

And now for something completely different:

As I have mentioned before, I'm studying industrial design in Oslo, and I just finished my first real project. It took a few months to complete, and I am quite happy with the result. So are my tutors.

I present to you Vinkel, the world's first wooden blow dryer. It makes a point of being as simple as possible.

"A design is not complete when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to remove"

Of course, using wood for a blow dryer has its drawbacks, but this was primarily an esthetic task.

Enough jib-jab, here are some pictures.

Some random monster I drew, and a few sketches I need for school.

By some insane stroke of luck I landed a character design job for a TV-series that's currently under development. Unfortunately, I'm not permitted to display the sketches yet. Some day though!

    Heya banana!

First time in this sketchbook I think, but I like the progress you have made! I was gonna comment on some earlier stuff but then I saw that it was like a year ago so meh.. the new stuff looks great though, loving the blow dryer and that skeleton monster. Keep up the good work and keep updating

you have a nice understanding of basic forms from your ID stuff..now just extrapolate that to your figures and you'll see there's no difference, after that even rendering soft surface stuff won't look as challenging

Well, I found some quite... spicy photos on my hard drive. I was going to use them for some figure drawing, but they just turned out tasteless. This is the single fruit of my endeavours today. Not happy at all, but I got the likeness pretty good.
