The first image is of my fanmade Digimon (TitaniumJaguarmon) in a form fusing him with Azulongmon. Just an idea I have been working on for a wile. This is just the first version.

The second one is me just trying to draw up more background. Yes I still need work on that.

Yo hey, thanks for swinging by my thread. As for yours, you're probably going to get tired of hearing this fast but I'd do some anatomy studies on the animals you're gonna be drawing. At the very least, try drawing them from reference a few quick times before you go on your own.

As for crits here, Jagmon actually looks pretty decent in your first post of him (I think the front view of him in pencil was particularly well done). However, give him more muscle mass on his hind legs, he looks pretty unbalanced and unable to do much with what you've got.

Coloring-wise, just remember to have a light source and have the shadows agree with it and I think you'll be good. Good luck on pumpin' that art out!

Hey man, good start, this reminds me soo much of my work when I first started drawing. Its great to get this sort of stuff down on paper and out of your head, but may I recommend some studies from life as well? I know you may feel like you want to draw with a style and there is little point in learning to draw realistically (that's how I used to feel anyway) but believe me it will aid your stylised work an unbelievable amount.

If you can, try to start drawing with form rather than just line, like your coloured pieces (which show a good understanding of form by the way) except not necessarily in colour, you can get the same effect in black and white!

Learning through fan art isn't necessarily a bad way to start drawing, but try to move on quickly to broaden your influence and knowledge.

A nice start though, hope you keep at it and Ill be checking in to see how you do!

The first image (on the bottom the little one.) I did for a kid on some Digimon forum. It was his fan made Digimon. I just wanted to sprite something.

The second one was yet another Picture I just drew up this.
