Update -Environment for a 3D Movie Animation in the end of the Thread-01-03-2011

Hi Everyone,

Well, this year went well full of work to me, thanks to God and to the forums as Concept Art and CgTalk, because it was through these two forums that, I got to accomplish my dream of working with ConceptArt.
Nowadays, I am making conceptart for film and videogame and, I have myself a lot of fun, but unhappily, because of the contract NDA, I cannot show anything than I´m working.

But I remembered some concepts of characters that I did for a site and that then, I ended up using these drawings to put in my portifolio and to get new works.
These drawings were made the more than 1 year ago, I really liked a lot of working in these characters, I had a lot of creative freedom, I didn't only like because the customer wanted all the characters in white background and, I would like to have worked in some texture in the background but, I really liked of the final result.

Well, I will be waiting for comments and don´t forget to hate this Thread too.
As soon as possible, I will put some character's of the videogame concepts in that I am working.

Another one paint, this is a Daredevil Comic Book Sample Cover, I made this using a mechanical pencil 0.5 lead 4B and make the colors and finished in Painter 9.5.

these are some really nice works. my only crit would be to do something else with the borders and be a bit less subtle with the contrasts you have going on in general, i think that that pulls away from your images as a whole. nice work.

Nice stuff! On the Daredevil piece though, his hand doesn't look like it's holding him up. It needs to sit on the piece of building better. =)

Excellent work!!! The colours in the first New York piece blew me away! The one thing I did notice about this picture in particular though:

I don't know why this stood out to me when scrolling down but, the foot that you can see closest to the camera... I don't think the white plate on her boot should be there. I found myself asking "depending what that white plate is made out of... what will happen when she tilts her foot up? Can she even do that?" since it looks like a pretty solid plate on her foot.

The two things you can take from that are: 1. Sometimes you need to step away from your picture for a bit, then when you come back you should ask yourself what material every part of a persons costume is made from, and if each piece has the right texture to show what material they are... and 2. You might need to brush up a little bit on how comfortable the character would be inside that costume, how much maneuverability they have etc.

Other than that, fantastic work!

Today, the Director of the 3D animation movie named, The Legend of King Nal,let me put on my portifolio and on the internet, some of the Concept Art of enviroments that I did to this wonderful movie.
I have much more envs to show but, I only can show when the movie be release.
Anyway, I worked the last years doing envs for the OSMO Production and I had so much pleasure doing this that I wanted to show for all these images, that I consider one of my best works.
