    finally done
    first time painting in a very long time (since highschool)
    acrylics
    11 by 14

    Sweet painting. Disturbing. I'd like to see a little more definition of shadows in forehead and chin, but mostly on the sides and tip of nose. The photo reference is overexposed, a look not quite translated into the painting so the lack of shading just makes the elements look flat. Especially the nose looks very flat.

    Otherwise nice!
