My first sketchbook... wanna improve!
I also wanna rock! ROCK! tuptuptudum...tudumtuptudum...tudumtuptudum... I - want - to - rock!
KingCostas, I'm back mate! I've been thinking about textured brushes for some time now, I've been making some experiments... if my screen heats up today, I'll see if I can come with some textured brushes grass!
Thanks for the tips Plumber, most of my paintings and drawings suffer from looking flat, you're right! Doing a still life practice is actually a really nice idea... I'll see what I can come up with, in the next few days!
quackart, Thanks!! I really need to work more on full body poses.
As for today's update we have, first of all a quick study of Arnold:
Followed by an imagination piece, just to see if I learned anything from the previous study
And some quick imagination doodles, and experiments on effects. that I did before doing the last two ones!

Nice mate.I think it will be better to do some lessmuscled body to get the general structure. This kind of body force you to step in muscle detailing
Keep working!!!

King, Always an honor to have your words here on my Sketchbook! Thanks for the advice mate, have been following it lately... Sorry for the late response.
Long time no update, eh? Yeah, almost a year has passed! I still draw very often, I feel on the right tracks, honestly... Sure, I've been a little lazy in updating my Sketchbook, But I still practice and I've been feeling improvements... I'll try to post some anatomy studies soon, good and old studies!
Well, mates, here comes a Wip!
I've been working on this for like... 3 to 4 hours. I feel its close to final, still need some work in all places, but I like where its going so far.
It's being done in Photoshop with a Genius 4x6 tablet, I challanged myself to only use 1 Brush. Quite happy with it, actually...
Criticisms and comments are welcomed as always. I plan to finish it tomorrow or the day after.
Well, enough chattering. Here it goes!
(I Couldn't resist playing a little with colors and contrast before posting)
Quickie thing I've done some days ago..
I think everyone fears this: Doing something for someone who doesn't really know what they want.
I always felt very stressed when I needed to "please" someone whose needs I didn't really knew. Its like shooting in the dark...
Some days ago I challenged myself, trying to overcome this "weakness" I decided to do a tattoo design... for someone who didn't really knew what she wanted.
These are all the "shot-down" ideas.
I'll post the final design (and the endless tweaks and variations) later, and hopefully, a picture of the tattoo.
Pretty challenging... and in the end, I felt no stress. It was actually fun.
Hope you guys enjoy!
