Update: off with old. On with the new... updates at the bottom of each page.
Started studying like six months ago, I must say that it does it wonders - to keep some balance that helps you progress.

good luck with this...
keep the studying![]()
critique and crits are more than welcomed
The studies are looking good
Do some real life studies too to complement your other studies and help you to better understand form and value.
Hay haiku,
Many studies
Long hours
Great art work
(not that great at haiku)
Anyways...
You've got some good work here and I like the Poe drawing!
On your 2nd post you have very organic looking lines on the first two works but the last looks a bit too round or circular. It is a Hogarth trait/trend, but I personally like the organic line more, where things are less round and bit more "awry."
Also,
When I am doing studies from books I like to apply what I see rather than just draw what I see. In other words dont just copy; try out what you learned & experiment.
Just some ideas;
You got some cool stuff here, keep at it and draw lots.

been working on some figure drawing.
noticed some problems such as the head proportion, triceps issue and awkward body position.
Pantless - Thanks, will do.
Slechtvalk Thank you!
for some reason i get "stiff" while figure drawing, especially the female figure. And most of the experimenting i do, don't come out as good, so i don't really bother posting them.
update
Just keep drawing just keep drawing.....

Hey thre, thanks for the comment in my SB. You seem to be doing okzy here, i like that you handle your drawings from a constructive standpoint. Best pic so far would be the last one in post #19. Watch out for the symmetry in your faces and she'll be right. Keep posting!
