You've shown some serious improvement since page one. Good job! I love the marker look to your colors.
And a Sparkster fan art? My younger self is giddy with excitement over that piece, haha!
Keep up the good work, I'll be checking in when I need some motivation to actually color my stuff![]()
Your cartoon image is impressive!

Your color choices are always so great, awesome style!
Artist: Thanks man.I overlay a small texture over the top just to break apart the flat colours a bit:
New layer over all, then a mid-grey fill at 100%, filter > add noise (full, monochrome), then filter > gaussian blur 1px... set layer to Overlay mode and bring down to around 15-20%. Nice little TV grain texture.
Alex: Thanks, I'll totally upload it.
Art Minded: Thanks heaps, sparkster's the man!
T-Boy: Thanks!
_Kino_ cheers, colours are fun.
Here's another from today. Greeter planet, minus it's architecture and surrounding Tech, just focussing on the nature part of it at the moment.![]()

Crickey, thanks heaps!
Lightship: Spend a night looking at an art blog you like, if it's on blogspot usually there'll be a list of fave artists for that person on the right hand side, just open each of those blogs in a new tab, scan through all of them, and keep doing that. You'll go through a few hundred great illustrations a night, more than enough to get you amped and drawing.

O-M-G! Everything that's coming out of you is awesome!
Is it possible to thank a post TWICE?!
But seriously though, when I first started scanning through these newest updates, I was like... "Hmmm I really like his markers more." but then as I kept going, now I'm like "Can't Decide... CANT DECIDE! BRAIN ANEURYSM!"
Do you already work for a studio? And if not, they would be lucky to have you.

Great stuff. Vibrant and full of character.
I can't even start to understand the anatomy of your cra'zy picture - legs on a face? Still works though.
Awesomeness on the wip update dude! hehe -and I thought I'd let Blackspot know the cra'zy pic was just a big ol' thing sleeping upside down.. what are you confuse... wait it's front legs ARE on it's chin .. whoa lol

It's looking dramatic and not cute. I'm cool with that.
I suppose it'll be harder to put your foot in your mouth having legs on your chin. I might have to ask for some surgical help.
