    Hmm yes I see....

You definitely suffer from a moderate case of needing to post more.

In other words, I either a) like your stuff and would like to see more or b) need to see more to critique. (the answer is c) both).

    and some more...
the first started as a life drawing at the air port...then i got bored.
the other three (which are not done using refrence of any kind) are possible paintings... maybe.

Well you have grasp of antomy , but show us some more studies, and take some time out, and sketch a lamp with the light on , its good practice for values.

Hey Rockhart. I decided to listen to your suggestion and stop by. Thanks for checking out my stuff by-the-way. You've got some pretty nice stuff here. Did you do your avatar pic in illustrator. I hate that program. I gotta respect you for that. I like that pic of the grey guy holding the gun. The perspective on the gun is really good. Keep up the good work.

    hey..

I think you are being pretty brave at what your attmepting here, which is good and fun

To see some bigger improvements though, you need to break your finished pieces into smaller chunks focusing on one thing at a time... be it anatomy, composition or palette.

Basically i think your biting off more than you can chew..

just keep oging though and things will start to improve

It's pretty neat that you've attempted Vector Drawing. It's hard and time consuming but when done well it shocks people. And it can go on T-shirts + make money! haha

Your drawings are pretty good but you should definitely study more anatomy and get into the proper thought process of drawing.

You have veray varied styles in your sketchbook. I would even say, that it is uneven. Some your works are stunning, and other are just... flat...

BTW: thanks for comment on my Sketchbook.

all right my real sketchbooks almost full! but before i post the goodies some thx must be dole out...

MurdokX - thx! the leaf looks nicer in real life though... and i agree some of my figures are a little stiff.

ped454 - thx i really like adobe illustrator. its awsome!

Mr. Gadbury - and and you're welcome!

DoktorNo - thx. well, variatey is the spice of life... and one of the reason i think some of these pieces stand out more than the others is their level of completion. or that some pieces i have spent alot of time on versus those drawn in only 30 min or less.

k now the images! most are just studies for possible projects...

    Thumbs up proportion

proportion is what you need i saw that some head was bigger than the body and a body to long for the head but good concepts love them

My favorite piece so far is the little Lego guy walking around. The perspective is great in that one. Keep it up! =)

A wide variety of work here of varying quality - but this is what makes you great! You're trying everything and learning - pushing your knowledge further each time. There's so much progress being made, keep it up! Like others have said though, make sure you keep some time for the 'boring' serious stuff too - anatomy is really important and it'll push your creations to the next level.

Thanks for looking at my sketchbook.

This is a nice start. You are do your share of studies, but most importantly, you are not afraid of trying something new.

The leaf study/drawing is very good. A big difference. I'm going to guess that it took a while. It looks like you slowed way down, and thought about every step you made. Excellent.

Perhaps you should try the same thing on additional works. There is nothing wrong with spending six hours on a drawing. Try another study, maybe a shoe, or something just as interesting. Try to slow it way down. Make sure that every line is just where it belongs. Don't settle for less. If you get frustrated, don't worry. You can try to push throught it, but there is nothing wrong with setting it aside for a while and calming down. We can all benefit from studies like this. (others may disagree, so take it with a grain of salt)

Sedig-actually alot of the pieces i've put on here have taken longer than that leaf both of the magician pieces and the lake are 14x17 and very detailed. the waiters and some other ones too, but maybe it's confusing cause i mixed them with some sketches and rough drawings... oh well

redid the soldier in illustrator for fun.
