    GoGoJojo: keke shanks!

Granny: haha shanks, well here's a really na much post coming up hehe!

Jizu: thanks, yea think simplifying the sketch or forms is working out for me a bit better!

jeremygordon: thanks always good to hear that!

just a few roughs in between work today, lately been really diggin using a brush squeezed in settings to creat a flat brush and tilting it at an angle and having the tilt sensitivity and opacity and size set to pressure sensitivity

Hey there! The b/w picture looks pretty awesome. Love the structures you used. The composition looks pretty interesting. maybe it's because you can't really tell what's happening, but it looks kin of exciting nontheless...
Hope you get what I mean: Great work!

    Granny: haha shanks dood!

last doodles for the night, started to use a bit of a different technique, read in one of m@'s tuts a while back where he was using the pattern stamp brush to add color variation, but i decided to just make random marks in perspective with textures in black and white, then captured pattern and used it as a starting point to spark ideas. if i can materialize this way of sketching will post a small walkthrough.

OOh, sometime I got to show you some neat pictures of some freight ships from when I sailed down the Columbia River this summer, they're good up-close refs. Have you ever been on the water when one of those huge ships go by?

GoGoJojo: nah never seen a freight ship in real life or ships in general for that matter, i know i got to get out more rather than seeing it in drawings or pictures. oh that would be awesome if you could share some of those freight ships always down for reference pics! Shankies!

Granny: i'll chill out as soon as u simmer down wif the level ups hehe, thanks!

not much pretty cracked out from work today, first one is the killer mushy and second is a bit of rough to kind of show the process or at least 20 minutes into it. i'm addicted to that pattern brush tool haha!

JailHouseRock2: thanks dood, hope the uni transition went smoovely!

Turbosnail: thanks will keep working to improve!

B-Man: sup dood thanks, and congrats on the awesome job you did on chow! As for the crit big thanks and I know I should put more thought into anatomy, but I think for what i was shooting for was more of a feel for things rather than getting caught up in something tight, that's what life drawing is for hehe which is a whole other beast!

    Granny: shanks dooooooood!!

lennon: thanks but now that i look at that ship it's like so warped haha!

BlackDelphin: heya miss delph, and big thanks! I'm glad you pointed out the stylized part, it was what i've been lately focusing on just to change it up!

NicG: no worries and big thanks! didn't know we were in a race even though it can feel like that sometimes, like one big rat race, hehe!

sourgasm: thanks, just bored of my job and stressed, feel much more motivated to get better, weird thing eh, gotta do something u hate to get motivated to do what you want, life's funny that way!!

um some roughs again, sorry i don't really finish anything but I treat this SB like i would sketchbook in real life, just a diary of ideas

the first is a big time fail, was trying to get like a frazetta feel and after finishing the sketch and then googling some frazetta pieces i was like big WTF, hehe!

second is one i might try to keep pushing, had final fantasy in mind since ff13 is just around the corner, woohoo can't wait!

Well you always were good in stylizing your work, making the most out of your shapes.

About your newest update, well the first would be great if you'd work some more on it So far the head is looking really great there!
The second one looks promising too. The colours give a nice mood so far, but i'd love to see this detailed more.

    Keep rockin'
