Wow. Those characters are impressive. You can draw both balanced and dynamic poses.

As for designing. Even if you draw some mountains, you already apply design to them by simplifying the form. Here's something from Loomis "Eye of the painter" for inspiration". You might know this .

Loving my westerns recently. Heres a ghost town.
Think this took about a good hour
    _________

    R&F: Thanks mate!

SnailE: Cheers No sorry man I keep forgetting. I will definitley do one soon

DanielC: Yeah I'd love to OC again man. Ive left my studio now, so I should have some hours to kill where you destroy my drawing skillz

Farvus: Thanks brother, that is a great snippet from Loomis. He really is the master. Things I thought I had learned years ago, I'm slowly realising that I was no where near really understanding. I'm re-reading creative illustration at the mo.

localfathead: Thanks man. yeah I'm gonna paint some characters up soon

good stuff Jon, and your site is amazing.
Your equally good at characters' environments and vehicles, very rare for an artist and impressive.

    The brett: Cheers man

D@niel: Thanks matey! I loved your recent chow. Youre characters are taking off bigtime

Miles: Thanks mate, its relieving to hear that lol

Mitchell: Mitchell!! thanks amigo. Hows things going at ignition? Do us a favour and get Robin to sort a job out for me :p

Ryan: hah yeah man. The inbetween is all super top secret stuff. Nah what I talked you through is really the bare bones. All I do after what I showed you, is keep refining really.

R&F: thanks mate. Yeah I forced myself to loosen up more. Painting pics for modelers to build from kinda makes us artists a bit stiff sometimes.

    Diego:

    Artycombarty: Cheers!

Nick: lol thanks brother. Hope your ok and had a good honeymoon

    Kan:

Adam: Thanks man! I'm glad you like it. My eyes were bleeding by the end of it. Hyperlinking sucks ass

Mikey: Cheers man. I apprieciate that

Markey2D: ah thanks mate. Thats kind of ya to say

jedininjaman: dude, I love your screenname

    Trollfar: Thanks matey

LRomel: Cheers! Im still having a hard time not getting caught up in details, i really have to stop myself

    Tamte: Thanks
