wonderful as usual mate, your characters are getting better and better. Do you do any under-drawing or are the lines we see in the images the only ones you draw? You manage to get so much energy into them whilst still hitting good form throughout. Thumbs up sunshine!

dude those sketches are fucking sweet! what are you drawing them in ? I'm curious why you aren't using line weight\transparency variation in your lines? It's a personal taste thing - I like line weight variation etc.

but that's quite minor cos I DO like the presentation of the drawing, just crossed my mind

Both your enviros and characters are sweet mate. You have a good hand at using texture to bring your landscapes to life. Any suggestions for mine they always seem to not work out

the nation's design were sweet, i'm a sucker for armour clad character and line sketches. enjoying the grand scale lighting of environ and is something that i could only dream and visualise in my mind and hope one day able to transfer onto image. all and all, your posts are reassuringly comfy to look at, have you been taking time off lately? but i'll know of updates anyway

edit: de ja vu, have i said this before??!!! let me look at earlier pages see if i'm repeating myself... but the nations designs definitely worth revisiting!!!!

Your environs have so much depth with minimum brush strokes, it's scary! If you ever get the time to share your secret...I'm all ears.

Hi Jon, nice meeting ya the other day. Loving whats Ive seen in here. Looks like youre pretty all rounded and comfortable with any sort of subject. Your recent enviroments have quite a nice traditional look about them because of the bristle brush-like blendings. I think your strength lies with the mechanical things. The way you render and light them really goes well together. Looking forward in seeing more!

Heres some helicopters I squeezed in.

Ben: Hiya mate. Cheers. Yeah was good meeting you guys too. Stu and I had a great time.

    Dcriler: lol thanks man.

Zenichi: Thanks man. Yeah Ive been thinking about that myself. Maybe some scene fight concepts of my Nation characters would be good.

Simon: I heart you Simon! Hope youre well mate.

Ryan: lol thanks amigo. cya on msn

Loren: haha sorry man. I've got a few more character to post in abit. Just need to finish em off

    aIexander: Thank mate

JacFat: Thanks! You can get alot out of an environment just by having a strong 1 - 2 read. Creating interesting shapes.

Radost: Thanks mate. Yeah I'll do one of them next time.

Monsi: lol thanks man! Glad you like em. Yeah I hear what youre saying about line weight and all the classic conventions of line drawings. But for me, Im mostly concerned with the core design. And less about the presentation. I imagine these sketches as production drawings, not illustrations.

Farvus: Thanks mate! Hope youre well

Chate Noire: Thanks Aviv! I was think about painting some of em up

    Pichuerca: Thanks!

    Robin: Rooobbiinnnn!

    hunterkiller: Thanks matey.

IanE: Thanks man. I really apprieciate it

Danny: Nah man How ya doing? What ya bin upto?

Jake: Thanks brother, get Nick sorted and we can sort out this drink.

    Algenpfleger: thanks amigo. Keep storming!

Dennis: Thanks man. Hope youre good

Rich: Stop eating my concepts man

VictorB: Cheers matey. I dunno I might do later. Im just having fun drawing at the mo.

Nice one. I like the perspective you chose for the pic.

I think what could make it better is separating the propellers beacause they merge too much into one shape while one of the helicopters is a bit further. You could for example make the further ones a bit blurred and slightly brighter.

    Cheers.
