Great update Kian, are you planning on continue any of the sketches into B&W or color? Also the latest enviorn is looking great. Keep up the art attack!

cool updates!
More awesome updates!Dude, dayum. That enviro kicks so much butt D:
The characters are totally rad. I love that jumping guy. He's so Phil HaleDynamic and awesome and stuff, you know.
Beautiful work as always, Jon. Going to subscribe so I make sure to keep updated with your creations! I think you've found a really nice, good moment of work. A steady stream of good pieces, so keep doing whatever it is you're doing until you reach the next realisation of progress!

Woah....awesome character concepts! I would love to see each and every one as a finished piece.
Hey. The last enviro pic has really believable textures. Good work!
Cheers!
dude those sketches are fucking sweet! what are you drawing them in ? I'm curious why you aren't using line weight\transparency variation in your lines? It's a personal taste thing - I like line weight variation etc.
but that's quite minor cos I DO like the presentation of the drawing, just crossed my mind
Man I dig your style and the moods you set. The saturation you get is amazing. Would love to see a thumb of GIF of your process, should you ever make one.
Both your enviros and characters are sweet mate. You have a good hand at using texture to bring your landscapes to life. Any suggestions for mine they always seem to not work out![]()
you are pooping more and more it seems.
nice stuff all together man.
Jon, a friend of mine saw some of your enviro works and started tripping balls. He has'nt been the same since. Stop fucking my friends up.
Great work, bro. Those pen sketches are stellar, so much life and movement. Keep it up!

Super sketches, bro!!
the nation's design were sweet, i'm a sucker for armour clad character and line sketches. enjoying the grand scale lighting of environ and is something that i could only dream and visualise in my mind and hope one day able to transfer onto image. all and all, your posts are reassuringly comfy to look at, have you been taking time off lately? but i'll know of updates anyway
edit: de ja vu, have i said this before??!!! let me look at earlier pages see if i'm repeating myself... but the nations designs definitely worth revisiting!!!!

Your environs have so much depth with minimum brush strokes, it's scary! If you ever get the time to share your secret...I'm all ears.
Hi Jon, nice meeting ya the other day. Loving whats Ive seen in here. Looks like youre pretty all rounded and comfortable with any sort of subject. Your recent enviroments have quite a nice traditional look about them because of the bristle brush-like blendings. I think your strength lies with the mechanical things. The way you render and light them really goes well together. Looking forward in seeing more!

Monsi: lol thanks man! Glad you like em. Yeah I hear what youre saying about line weight and all the classic conventions of line drawings. But for me, Im mostly concerned with the core design. And less about the presentation. I imagine these sketches as production drawings, not illustrations.

just a little bit lovely Mr Kian.
My jaw just dropped![]()
Nice one. I like the perspective you chose for the pic.
I think what could make it better is separating the propellers beacause they merge too much into one shape while one of the helicopters is a bit further. You could for example make the further ones a bit blurred and slightly brighter.
Cheers.
Your environments its like drugs, please dont stop making it.
Heres some more drawings. Had to get em posted otherwise I'd keep fussing about with em.
