Love the last page, and also really love your typography on that tree for some reason.
Your digital work and your work from imagination in general is a lot stronger than your observational work, so it's good that you're branching out and trying figures like that girl with glasses. In no time you'll be great at those, keep going![]()
Thanks Ariel! Merry christmas!

Wow, that's a lotta gnomes
I'm really enjoying the improvement in this thread! Your value study portraits look great -- keep it up![]()

The last enviroment is great but reaaally creepy. I guess this was intentional though considering your usual subject matters, ehe. I really like that in your art, makes it quite recognizable.
You should try to get into some Creature of the Week activities! Keep it up![]()
Thanks Ariel! I'll think about the creature of the week activities

That looks cool man really interesting lighting.
The pillar that is further from camera looks a little too wide in relation to the other.
Try setting up a perspective grid. (sounds basic but does great things for enviros)
I'm not saying that to take away from the fact that it still looks better than my stuff.
Thanks for sharing.
here's a quicky fix
less than perfect but you get this basic idea.
If your less lazy than I am you can use the line tool and increase the size of the canvas to establish your vanishing points.
idk if you use painter or photoshop but I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Thanks Tyler. Appreciate your time
I actually wasn't thinking of them as pillars on one and the same structure while painting them.

hey there fellow ikeani really like those dino sketches!
Your digital stuff is getting better and better! Loving the piece in post #114, the expression of the creature there is just HILARIOUS and also the concept is pretty great and whimsical, which is a nice change from uber-serious killing monsters illustrations you always see around.
The 'that's what she said' guy there is also hilarious and so well-drawn. Great work with your food illustrations!
Work more on metal textures and reflections, that's the only thing I can think of looking at that still life study! Keep it up![]()
