Wow you got some really good studies here. I really like this one, nice colors, and looks very polished. Also the pacino and monroe portraits are excellent. Keep up!

you shading is very accurate and your strength is definitely getting the highlights in there

and the fact that you draw beautiful women probably helps
keep it up

Hey Novb,
Just checking out the newest updates. Nice study on #128. You have some interesting things going on in the last post. I agree that the last one is worth showing but the perspective is off and I think you can do him more justice with the position. However, there's a lot of motion going on in that sketch. I've noticed when you reference stuff you do very well. Good stuff, keep up!

Ha gondolod, elmondom, hogy szerintem mik a problémák a CHOW cuccoddal. Nem azért, mert én olyan húdeokos vagyok, csak hátha jobb leszel tőle.

No.
Szóval akkor azzal kezdem, ami jó a rajzon: az arca, és az arckifejezése tetszik a nőnek, és az, hogy rögtön odavonzza a tekintetet, mert a legvilágosabb rész a képen. Látszik, hogy ebbe fektetted a legtöbb energiát, valószínüleg ez érdekelt leginkább. A színében nem vagyok olyan biztos, kicsit túl sárga, bár ha sápad a nő, akkor foghatjuk erre a dolgot.
A gondok: rögtön az arc mellett, ott van a kéz, ami úgy néz ki, mint egy kés, karó vagy, valami ilyesmi. A másik kéz sem tökéletes, ami a tükröt fogja, az ujjak összevissza jönnek kifele belőle. Az egész alak arányaival gond van, nagyon rövidek a lábak. Olyan, mintha nem gondoltad volna át eléggé, mi van a ruha alatt. A felsőtest nagyon kifordul felénk. A háttérrel is vannak gondok, a formák nagyon elnagyoltak a tükör alatti izén, a tetejéből nagyon sokat látunk (ettől olyan, mintha felénk lejtene a teteje), és a háttérben a felakasztott figurán először nem is láttam micsoda.
Amit ajánlani tudnék fejlődésileg: Rajzolj, vagy fess kezeket, mert nagyon fontos részek az emberen, és sokat lehet belőlük tanulni. És rajzolj épületeket, vagy valami ilyesmit, amivel gyakorlod a perspektívát. Legközelebb angol billentyűzettel írok, mert ez marha lassan megy.

I found that I really need to gain some traditional media experience so
- I started to use the good old pencil again
- as I don't really have too much time after work I started to sketch everywhere and everytime - on the bus, on tram, on subway, in the waiting room, etc. At first these sketches were only from imagination, but recently I started to draw people around me - now that is pretty interesting when they recognize that they are being drawn

I started to do these sketches while I had only my little (A5 size) company notebook - I mean the one that is made of paper, not the computer - and a pen. I've never used pen for drawing before, but that's pretty much fun - now I even like it a little more than pencils. Anyway, here are the results of the last days' public transport sketching sessions (okay, and a pencil sketch I made at home). Sorry for crappy quality, they were captured with my brand new phone
