This is the latest painting that I have done,I record the process.and there is links to that.
a sci-fi city.I got an inspiration in my dream.I designed the buildings very organic and almost like a big giant sculpture.the focal point is the building in the middle.I approached it as a fast speed painting. It took me about an hour to hour and half.but the videos are much faster.so I hope you all enjoy it.

Really like some of your technical designs like the Elider. Nice clean geometric shapes. Where do you come up with your ideas?

Can't say I'm really familiar with Syd Mead. I'm somewhat new to the concept art arena so I'm not up on all the big name artists. Got any info on him?

I love the watercolours, they rock. Solid effort on the other stuff too. Keep it up!

PS. sorry to say it, but your avatar/logo is pretty ugly, maybe you should do a redesign. If it were me I would make it reflect the type of work you are doing, for example you could paint it by hand to get that brushy traditional look or sumthin.

    10 minutes experiment

It has been awhile since I have touched painter x.so I feel very rusty at it.for warm up I render a bit of the face on this doodle to see how I am doing.I really wanted to paint the rest but I have to get started on several high res character illustrations for this month and several mattes.I have to take a look at some classical paintings for inspiration today.

This is my version of conan the barbarian.it is a 30 minutes line drawing to get warm up.since I have been doing a lots of matte paining recently,I felt a bit rusty drawing characters, so I took it upon my self to do a sketch today at my lunch time.I did not want to over design the original of course.I have to get ready for my next job which is incudes doing some high res characters.
    anyway cheers

I reworked this drawing from before, adding some dark tones.when I get a chance I am going to paint it. I left the carpet in the corner, I like it somehow.

    Cool Cghub challenge(Alice in wonderland)

I have decided to have the caterpillar represents the story.since it dose represents one of the strongest and iconic character of the story.but I am having different go at it.caterpillar is a lady, yes, and a Diva .And I used Sophia Lauren as my ref.with his big eyes and big lips she makes a perfect diva ,and a woman in charge.so it is my initial drawing I am painting it right now, hopefully I get it done by tomorrow 5:00 pm.I see some great stuff here by the way,I am very inspired by everyone take on this.I hope to make some friends here.
