    $500 Workshop Ticket

    Hello Everyone,

I bought a ticket before November 1st for the workshop, but due to personal issues that have recently popped up I won't be able to make it. If anyone would like to take my place, please e-mail me @ [email protected] within the next week. I'd rather not let this go to waste. Thanks.

Agreed... tickets should still be refundable and I doubt they can be transfered. Your name is on the Sales Receipt and you have to bring a photo ID.

Just because this person only has one post doesn't mean this is a scam. If you've ever been to a workshop, you'd realized there are more than enough people who attend that do not post at all. Grow up and stop calling foul on a person who could be saving you a 100 clams.

When 500 bucks is at stake one SHOULD be cautious.

I would imagine it's easy enough to verify through, oh, I donna, CA?

Well they did join in april of 06, that's thinking pretty far ahead in order to scam someone. I'm still suspiscious though.

Yeah, your registration is by name, so you would have to get CA to transfer the ticket to a different name. I don't know if they'll be willing to do that or not.

I agree with you 100%. But when someone cries "scam" on something that seems somewhat legitimate, (despite the users post count), then that's not being cautious, that's being inconsiderate. If Lantix had joined today and was offering cell phones, viagra and breast enlargements , then I might be a bit more wary, but I honestly see no reason to raise the alarm in the manner that it was.

Your probably right Eric. There's no doubt one would have to get in contact with MB to make any sort of transaction like this work.

I never noticed the user joined in 2006.

Seems a bit more legit, but be careful to whomever proceeds with buying this ticket.
