black and white studies are beautiful... gifs are very amusing too ;p
What a nice sketchbook you got here, loving the experimentation in your work, the animations are really great, very very nice work man, i'd be glad to see more!
Your sketchbook is inspirational. Truly.
Your sketches are starting to get really strange. Cool.
Wonderful sketchbook, I very much enjoy it.
Would be interesting to see what your ideation and sketching process is like. Maybe you could post up a step by stepper of the major steps in your drawing and painting process.
Kindest regards.

thanks guys
Sepulverture - my process is somewhat chaotic at the moment. i`m working on how
to have it settle down so i can finish something for a change
here`s a study and sketch i lost patience with the hands and legs on

Your SB is just teeming with awesome. Your studies are gorgeous and your designs so daring and well-composed. I can't wait to see more from you.
You've got some funny and very inspirational stuff here,
I love your color-shemes and the moods you create.
ahhhhhh bloody amazing stuff. You're my new art hero now! SERIOUSLY!
Thanks Eyecager, Flugel & Aaron
here`s some fooling around with wierd combinations

hah, love it
also great rendering!
thanks takashmen
here`s some studies
and i spent some more time playing around combining stuff. The more far off the reference points are from each other it seems more fun for me to find how
to connect them. This would be definetly a direction to take in exploration... i`m even thinking about rendering more than usual, because the uncanny result is
more compelling to work on... more on it later. here`s the second attempt
And the third
third also made me think about how i`ve represented scale for the big carroty creature. I feel like it`s not successful in this case because
instead of setting the viewpoint simply lower or higher i`ve set it in ideal middle. It messes up it`s scale - makes it look smaller. Got to go now

Here`s another. A friend declared i was picking easy targets and challenged me with the eifel tower/blue whale/trooper dude wielding a staff. Out of which i leaned mostly on the tower
and it`s cast iron structure, the whale... well we had to take him out to the back

haha awesome idea for exploration of ideas! great excercise in concepting. i used to do a similar thing where i would start off with a very basic shape, and then build upon it with new layers of increasing values in order to come up with something new. filled a few pages up doing that, got some cool and weird results too. heres the link if your interested ha. http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs70/f/20...nickybeats.jpg .
but awesome stuff man! always inspired when i leave your sketchbook!

here`s how the whale/barge came out. feels alot like my most vehicles/crafts on a background formula but it was a thread i wanted to explore regardless
this is what i wanted to do after the eifel tower whale concept - an illustration of it. should fix the perspective issue with his "shoulder"
and one of the soldiers in the foreground looks too relaxed... no relaxing allowed in my pictures

really like the lighting and how you rendered the whale. can't wait to see the background =]
Wonderful ideas and great drawing technique!
Crazy stuff man!Your technique and fantasy bring out some awesome concepts!really like to see what more your pics will show us
Aaah, combining concepts like that is such a neat idea! And this last illustration has so much movement in it, you can almost feel the earth shaking. Awesome!
awesome sketchbook!
lots of really, really cool designs
the last concepts with the wale just awesome!
