    Your sketchbook is inspirational. Truly.

Your sketches are starting to get really strange. Cool.

Wonderful sketchbook, I very much enjoy it.

Would be interesting to see what your ideation and sketching process is like. Maybe you could post up a step by stepper of the major steps in your drawing and painting process.

    Kindest regards.

    here`s some studies

and i spent some more time playing around combining stuff. The more far off the reference points are from each other it seems more fun for me to find how
to connect them. This would be definetly a direction to take in exploration... i`m even thinking about rendering more than usual, because the uncanny result is
more compelling to work on... more on it later. here`s the second attempt

    And the third

third also made me think about how i`ve represented scale for the big carroty creature. I feel like it`s not successful in this case because
instead of setting the viewpoint simply lower or higher i`ve set it in ideal middle. It messes up it`s scale - makes it look smaller. Got to go now

Here`s another. A friend declared i was picking easy targets and challenged me with the eifel tower/blue whale/trooper dude wielding a staff. Out of which i leaned mostly on the tower
and it`s cast iron structure, the whale... well we had to take him out to the back

haha awesome idea for exploration of ideas! great excercise in concepting. i used to do a similar thing where i would start off with a very basic shape, and then build upon it with new layers of increasing values in order to come up with something new. filled a few pages up doing that, got some cool and weird results too. heres the link if your interested ha. http://fc09.deviantart.net/fs70/f/20...nickybeats.jpg .

but awesome stuff man! always inspired when i leave your sketchbook!

here`s how the whale/barge came out. feels alot like my most vehicles/crafts on a background formula but it was a thread i wanted to explore regardless

this is what i wanted to do after the eifel tower whale concept - an illustration of it. should fix the perspective issue with his "shoulder"
and one of the soldiers in the foreground looks too relaxed... no relaxing allowed in my pictures
