Those Earthrise pieces are shweet, loving your bold strokes!
thank you all :]
Mawh - the upper body is ahem "foreshortenned" cuz he`s getting ready to err... fartjump :]
but it was wierd because of the legs - first his proportions changed and he looked like he has long
thighs, second i made em as non-bear as possible. so after some looking at bears i fixed it... or did i
a67epipadjlg - dude... what you said sounds exactly like something i said awhile back? are you a bot?
f1x - yep i agree. the original cover`s composition emphasises the book more :]
Tugelbend - thanks :] it`s a wingless owlbear hahah
so here`s an update... i`ve been messing around with areas of contrast trying to
cut a path for the viewer`s eye. the owlbear`s legs are more bear-ish also :]
thanks again for the comments `yall

The book illustration is great, definately bring more of that storytelling into even your concept art. One thing I can see you've delibrately done and it's worked will is the way you've directed the viewer by the angle the characters are facing, and the almost animated composition device with the monkeys creates an axiom.
thanks heix, nicky and cam, here`s another one
