Nice stuff! In those first few enviros you just nailed the colour and light! Perfect! Now fill in those details...

A quick suggestion came to mind for the image of soldiers running up the stairs: the blur on the leg is a bit cheesy, no? Why not convey the motion through painting itself? Or just don't show the motion at all.

i have to grow a bit more patient though.

RandAlThor - thanks :] i`m focused on characters and dealing with anatomy right now so enviroments are going to be off for a while :]

not too sure about the colours though, i know they`re not accurate to the picture but still flesh tones are hard

I'm a big fan of soldiers and the weapons so I highly admire your last digital paintings! The strongest side of yours is just obvious, the industrial designs and environments... experiment some more! KEEP IT UP!

going for that vietnam war faded photo look and it ended up looking all WWII-ish

i think it's a very good concept.
the only thing that doesn't make it look like a vietnam related photo is more because of the helmet.




your background,it looks pretty cold which is the reason it probably looks like a WWII scenario.
try to use a warmer color,like a sunset on the background.
or different tints of green,make it look like there's a jungle background or anything like it.

the rest of your works seems really good.
wish i had those painting skills.
