hey guys, i thought that i put down some of my works from the teenchallenge because i'm unfortunately pretty occupied with school atm. i will add some studys and sketches but also some paints later on. don't expect too much, i'm still in the sphere between noob and a breeze of skill. i hope this sketchbook and some crits will motivate myself to fill some pages in it to increase my abilities. greez, jmh

dude at least ur better than me in photoshop or whateer you are using ....i just cant paint man and that really pisses me off man .....stupid pen tablets are not available anywhere here so i have to work wid a mouse....i liked ur gun slinger and maybe you should try adding a background to it .....and a little more detailing could go too ...keep it up man .....n i am still not out of bed-rest situation man ... might take me another month maybe ....

mh nice start so far.
imo you should start getting into coloring with aquarel or oilpaints... because i think you don't really understand how color works... their are so many aspects and you can't learn it all by coloring with photoshop.

i think you have problems with the values... it makes no sense to get in details if the whole value setup doesn't work.
how about some studies focused on values?...

and keep in mind that our eyes just see light!

anyway, keep at it and have fun with what you are doing!

yay: finally i have some new stuff :] this is a cd cover for the band of friends of mine.i'm really satisfied with this clumsy ape^^ also i get free cards for their concerts now :p

Hi nice stuff. Some refining and you could have some really nice pics.
I would say you could go a little darker in some areas.

Nice work.
I dont know how to use the program that you all use to create those computer drawings, so i cant give much feedback from that perspective.
But from an artists perspective your work is very impressive.
Very nice colour and form.

hey guys, finally my pc kind of works a bit right now... i'm so damn happy to be able again to upload images.. all those challenges i've missed.. too bad. well, here's a new fanart that i'm still occupied with. hope i get it done this week to send it to blizzard's fanart site :] would be awesome if it will be accepted

back again, i have some new blizzard fanart stuff.. but i think im havin enough of that stufff... a bit drunk right nwo but i want to do some more political/social critizied stuff... something to make people to think about something. :

ahh.... finally i had the motivation again to paint some stuff... and here's the result. it began with a little traditional sketch and turned into a pretty nice project. i added a seccond lightsource and i think i topped myself with this piece... i think this relays on the sketch.. i normally do sketches digitally.. seems to be the better way doing it the graphit-way

hey man , its been a while since i stepped in here , i like those characters man although i think all of them could use a bit more of polishing
try using the smudge brush or a heal brush to blend colors.
my favorite these days is a soft edged smudge brush with spacing around 27 and no shape dynamics but other dynamics checked . keep the strength low around 20-40 and try it to blend those colors , much faster than blending with a regular paint brush . and try experimenting with a few other brushes as well ... maybe you already knew that

then i basically just rambled on for nothing

... anyway keep updating
