sooooo, I've been waiting for that really cool idea to pop into my head for a little while now. Still waiting...

Alright, so here's the deal. I'm not happy about this, but it's gotta happen this way.

To put it simply, I'm really fucking busy. I'll be traveling my huge manly balls clean off over the holidays, and the short bit I'll be around during the deadline will not be enough to process all of your entries into judging pages for the Judges (all judging will be done before the finally finished thread is posted) and the actual Finally Finished threads. I don't have the time, captain!

Thusly, the deadline is extended until Friday, January 11th. I know a lot of you have put work into your pieces already, but the holidays are an inconvenient time for many of you. This will be the last of the deadline extensions for round one, I promise.

Keep working steadily on your pieces and pump out some amazing shit for us all to see. Thanks for understanding, ladies and gents.

Holidays are always a bitch for me, my family goes ape shit if I even suggest I'll stay home and paint instead of stuffing my face full of food.

Any chance that we can get news like this e-mailed to the competitors? The only reason some of my fellow artists knew about the contest even beginning was because I e-mailed them, personally, to let them know it was on.
I'm grateful for the extensions, but just wish I knew that in an e-mail instead of having to come here to find out. Just a suggestion, thanks for doing so, though--I had full-time work, two freelance gigs, and the Last Man Painting that needed to get done, so I was THRILLED to have additional time to focus on it!

Well, dang it! I'm almost finished and I want to show it off! I'm having so much fun on this, and I really feel sorry for the people who are up against me.

This is going to kick ass, if round one ever actually happens. I understand the need for extending the deadline, but I've been staying up late nights after work to get this done, and if I knew ahead of time the deadline would be extended, I might have gotten more sleep over the past few weeks.

Oh well. Time is flying so fast these days it will be here before I know it...

I haven't read through the past 15 pages... did any of the people in my group puss out? Is there a list of puss-outs anywhere that I can refer to? Guess I should just stop being lazy and actually look for myself.

This is the last deadline extension, but it needed to happen. I wanted to keep this iteration of Last Man relatively extension free, but my holiday schedule is hectic and I won't have the time to get all of the entries ready for judging and final posting. I'm sure you all understand, and your hard work will pay off in the end.

And yes, round one will happen.

Damn...I really need to impress. Aleksi, Dan, Rob, and IRENE!!!!! Should be fun. Wish there was a way to get their interpretation of out art works...would really help with future and immediate development.

After seeing the judging panel I'm more than thankful for the extension ( j'ai peur...)
Gives me enough time to do another version of my painting.
And yes, I think I will use my acrylics again ( long and boring story that would at least explain, why there's not a single one of my paintings online)

So, I'm halfway down the reserves list, but it is quite probable that I'll be asked to replace a pussout right?
I mean, there were so many no shows last time..
I'm sure there will be some rules posted about this later on, but I'm just going to ask: Can I send you my image along with the rest of the contestants so that when there are unanounced pussouts you can replace one of those unentered images with mine?

anyways, still working on the sketch atm.. Still have to start the final image.. I'll need the time to not be a pussout myself ^^
