The doodle page may have taken a while, but I like it. I also dig the little critter on the bottom of hte last update. Is he part of a larger illustration? If not, why not? I'd really like to see him expanded.

    the ANGRY filipino - Thanks!

Sedig - Good call, that creature IS from a larger painting but i hated everything but the creature. If by expanded you mean want more drawings of him I'll see what I can come up with.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I find him intriguing. I'd love to find out how big the rest of his body is.

Man o man. Thanks for playing with that critter a little more. I wouldn't have expected it to be fast enough to catch a bird, but I like the fact that it is.

    Just out of curiosity:

You have a lot of technical ability--where does it come from? Do you do this for a living, or is it a hobby?

sedig - where does it come from? Umm... drawing I suppose, and studying a bit of bridgeman and Loomis.
Someday I do hope to make a living off of it, but drawing is just a hobby right now. The fact that you had to ask though gives me some confidence .

Your anatomy is still amazing... you have this unique stylistic approach to everything you draw. I like your work alot. And hope you continue to draw all the time lol.

About the only thing I'd suggest is, watch out on your eye positioning sometimes... it almost appears as though you have this 'deer in headlights' look on them sometimes.

well, I was just standing in my sister's room, creepily staring at her for long periods of time like I usually do, when I had the idea that I could channel this behavior into something productive. so I did.

Your inks are great, on top of the coloring ability you have. I want to borrow your painting skills ;p

Your attention to detail is amazing. Not to mention your stylish approach to the mundane.

Do you have any special brushes or something that you can let me borrow?

Anyway... asspatting aside... About the main thing I can see that might be a slight problem area is the noses. But it's only slight and might actually just be a style choice of yours.
Hope to see you post soon

Like the assassin chipmunks and the candles in the table! only crit would be in the flames, as candles' ones are usually quieter and smoother.
    Anyway, nice sketchbook
