Amazing pencil work, just wooooow! 0.0
The only tiny little thing that I find weird is the very bright light on the 4th character's neck. Where does it comes from?
I just ahd a really fun time looking through this sketchbook. I had really looked before so I went from page 1 to here, skipped a couple of pages but had to go abck and look at the ones I missed cos there's great stuff on each page. You've really improved heaps. I learnt alot from looking at things you did to improve. The moleskin pages are beautiful!
I like the movement in the characters poses. Even in the more static poses there is a sense of a hand being lifted or a head turning.
Wow dude, it has been really a while since my last visit, and you still dont seem to amaze me, really awesome looking stuff youve got here, lovely pencils! Looking forward for more of you!
I love the last characters you did, really amazing

Diggin' the Ditch?
Hi guys! Did a bit of homework today. Worked over an old pencil sketch, so please gimme some good crits on this one!

Your latest updates are really awesome man...
But, for the last post its a bit weird, the skycrapers closest to us, looks to small or the guy is too big, I know there is perspective, but I'm not sure its really working
And not to sure of the colors, maybe you could try to reduce the size of the image, and try some mood/color variations on it.
And finally the story telling, I mean there's a hugggeeee spaceship that is faling on the city, but the guy looks at it as if he would be looking to a calm sea![]()
Lovely stuff as usual mate! Your drawings almost gets better for each update hehe. I want more!![]()
neat stuff, i wish i could paint that well :/

cool stuff lately man, love the black guy on your character sheet, something cool about his pose !
It is almost scary how much you have improved, since I checked in here last. Very inspiring - keep it up!
great character stuff, particularly your pencils.
The city looks like a miniture model city, something about the image lacks depth. Not quite sure what you could do to fix it though. I'm crap at environments.
cheers.
fuckin a dude. cant believe how good youve gotten
I love your pencil works man, your shading is looking really awesome. I love how much you are improving, keep it up!
Very cool painting. The dude looks very mysterious, as we don't really know what he's doing there. Just observing or enjoying the scenery... I think Mark pointed out all the things about the picture. tho
Your character and pencil work is AWESOME....great stuff!
As for the last piece......the values in the midground (thes skyscrapers/ship) are very close to the values in the forground. So it feels like the skyscrapers are almost as far away than the guy, but therefore they are too small. I would get less light/dark contrast on the ship and the entire midground. To push it further back in the atmosphere....
Cheers

Hey folks, uni is kinda kicking my ass a bit, so I don't get to update as often as I would like. I do, however, work as much as I can manage, and now that I got most of my distracting paperwork done, I can try and get more done

I love the update. Beautiful sketch work.
great updates
really like those character designs and sketches
keep up the great work
Hi there!
You were asking for critiques on your previous spaceship painting...
well looking at it i'm a bit confused about the lighting. It looks like the light source is behing the man but then there's a glow in the background? If this is meant to be like an explosion of light then wouldn't more of the buildnings be lit up? I agree with mark about the tonal values. My teachers are always telling me desaturate a painting and you can see how contrasting your tones really are.
Also that building on the right that window is a little wierd but then that could be your style :p Hope i said something a little useful i'm always worried about critiquing others work that is better then mine >_<
Level 3 Gladiator: Catervarii
Hey! I'm not especially fond of the
background of the last character sheet,
but the poses are really well composed.
very good sir
