Looks like things are coming along well. The first oil painting looks pretty good. A bit early to say about the second one, but be careful with the eyes.

Nice figure on last one, good anatomy, dont have any crits for that.Yes shes beautiful, in a painting the right eye looks a bit odd, keep the roundness of it. The other portrait is nice too, waiting till you finish it.

Really dig the light in the kelsey paint, and nice work on your gf's portrait too, I find it's fucking hard painting/drawing people you know.

Thumbnails and a Degas color study

The thumbnails are good, but your Degas study could be better. Even as a general color study, the squiggly brush strokes tend to break up the figures more than they need to be. It took a moment the first time I saw it to recognize it as the ballerinas and not a bunch of shapes.

the girl painting looks really good, but too lighty compared to the ref =), and check out her nose, seems off
nice gestures, although they can't be read easily, you will get better with teh practice right?
i like your thumbs, but don't understand the 3rd one =O.

You've improved so much, both anatomical and colours, as others have noticed too, has improved greatly

Thats right do tons of those sweet figure studies! Do more studies of the muscles,from where to where it connects and apply those to your figures. Great sketch pages man! Your lines look great.
