great sketchbook, very inspiring
keep going
Link Click on Illust at the top and pick a category. I like it.
Nemome: The anti aliasing on the lines are actually one of the things I like about MSPaint ;p. It gives it a very unique look, extremely digital and not something you can duplicate outside of a computer.
Ixallus: Yeap, black hair is the best!
vices: You've inspired me to do some studies tooso thanks!
Samszym: Yep, studies are how you get better faster.
kingkostas: Thanks kingkostas, your work is also great!
Lyno: I try to vary my drawings up to keep it interesting as you will see in this post~
GEB: 2 more moleskins coming up!
Lucarky: Thank you!
jablar: Thanks! And I will keep on trying!
So, Yeah.
Drow Ranger from dota 2.
I really really get bored of having to draw the grass, rocks, background and stuff. But I persevere!
If you click on this one it'll bring you to an ultra super crazy high res scan, if you care to see...
In another random unrelated note, imgur is the best image hosting site around nowadays.
Anime coming up! I've discovered that anime is extremely easy to draw... Haven't really done any anime studies though, maybe I should...
I wanted to try to finish something fully rendered from imagination because I haven't done one in a while
Studies of clothing
Studies in pencil:
Random stuff:
So, I never draw graphic stuff like this, but I do like drawing tattoos and clothing designs and whatnot a lot, so I think it's good practice try my hand and this stuff, it's pretty fun too
Wanted to just loosen up and do some quick stuff:
Until next time! CATCH YOU ON THE FLIP SIDE YO'
wow, great update! I totally love those pencils!![]()
omg, the last one! Brilliant
Amazing~~very inspiring![]()
Oh wow all of your work is simply incredible o_O
llex_paul: Thanks~!
Axelga2112: Did you mean the last drawing or the last post? I think its funny how some people like some drawings, and other people like other drawings. The last drawing was just a quick sketch I was debating posting it... ;o
Morningtea: Thank you!
V3T: Thanks, more in coming!
In this post I'll write approximately how long each picture takes me just for your information! All times are in 'ish' times.
One of the big advantages of getting better at art is that you can draw/paint A LOT faster. The other advantage is you produce fewer bad drawings (percentage wise). You'll still churn out 'meh' drawings all the time, but because you only spend two or three hours on them, you can just throw them away and chalk them up to the learning experience.
Studies first!
3.5 hours-ish: Digital Study
5.5 hours: A master study of Sargent, haven't done one in a while, so I thought I would.
2.5 hours
1 hour: I haven't done any watercolor painting in a bit, either.
3.5 hours
30 mins I guess... Life studies! In pen!
---Imagination stuff---
11 hours: Someone asked before why pencil isn't seen as much anymore. The reason is because it takes 2-3x longer to draw a pencil drawing like this as opposed to a fully coloured digital illustration.
6 hours: Pen! People don't seem to like my pen drawings as much as my other stuff, but I like them. Also, it's not just pencil that takes a long time, all non-digital mediums take much longer than digital
1.5 hours: MS Paint and a a bit of photoshop.
1.5 hours: MS Paint + photoshop again, speeedy drawings! MSPaint is perfect for speed.
5 hours: Haven't done a black and white drawing in digital in so long. And, my god, it has become so easy. Especially compared to coloured illustrations or drawing in pen or pencil...
1.5 hours: Random digital speedpaint

Awesome updates
Fantastic stuff as always, I especially enjoy your traditional stuff!
Would you mind sharing some in-progress pages when you work on another sketchbook drawing? I'd love to see the development.
yeah, I meant the last painting. I see that it's quick, but the background, light and mood is perfect in it. The girl deserves a face though.Did you mean the last drawing or the last post? I think its funny how some people like some drawings, and other people like other drawings. The last drawing was just a quick sketch I was debating posting it... ;o
I'm always pumped to look at your work ^^ you don't need to feel any pressure or anything because as was mentioned, even the ones you don't like look hot
Meh for you is still grade A eye candy~
After you mentioned MSPaint is almost uniquely digital those pieces started to look more appealing.. go figure
Who is that artist you linked to? His works look perfect lol
This SB is becoming one of may favs here. It's like a kick in the balls and a kick in the ass all at once. It shows me how far I have to go(how crap I am now), but inspires me to go for it. So thanks for that, also thanks for giving back with tuts and tips and all that good shit! Awesome.
love your stuff man ^^

Really inspriration work. I love the girl portrait and nude study. It loose but defines nice structure and shape. Did u work in company ?
Geez this is really amazing. Every single pic is amazing.
this shit is crazy, I can't even begin to grasp this stuff, it's just beyond me. How the fff do you balance values like that??? crazy skills mate.
dude those moleskins are beyond the limits of my imagination!!! i just have a question about the material...I read your previous posts about how you approach one of your moleskin illustrations (starting from corner down) but I was wondering how you get those dark darks without indenting the paper? what kind of moleskin is it? are they thick? because the ones i got are thin and they get ruined with graphite
Great variation in studies and mediums. Very inspiring work, keep it up. Do watch those proportions though, don't get into the trap of just rendering.
PS: I like your pen stuff, it must be less forgiving than pencil.
Holy crap those pencils are insane, have to link this thread for inspiration
