    need help.

    Hello,

    i need some help concerning OC 1.1 ( b72)
When i or someone else hosts , it works fine , but the things that i am drawing , can't be seen by the other participator. ( so neither when he hosts )

Does anyone have a solution for this or know the cause?

    Thanks,
    Jorn.

hmmmm...many seem to have asked about .oes files but nobody seems to answer...so i'll take it upon myself to explain.
Basically, .oes files are the same as .wpe, only difference is that that's the kind of file that's being used from version 2 and up...if you want to see them you either have to get any of the more advanced versions (you can get a month trial or sumthin of that sort...after that you keep all the program's features..except that you cant save anything)...OR browse around the internet for the oCViewer.
    Hope that clarifies everything

This is a great program! Too bad I didn’t find this earlier. Whenever I paint with friends it’s with a cheesy mspaint type of thing. Ugh! This is great! Maybe some time I can paint with some of you .

    Cheers

Dakardaur: I think it has been answered by Blind earlier:
I read somewhere that it uses .oes from v2 on up for exports.
The oCVewer is a good point though.
Maybe I'll seach for it ... but there are not many oes files yet.

Vyle, your asian work looks very similar to 'cincinimo' of "eatpoo.com''

Kind of looks like a ripoff , just letting you know

    Thumbs up

This thread is awesome. I just watched almost every WPE in this thread. Some really great stuff (Prometheus, that one with you and "sin" is just incredible).

Lately me and my friend have been doing speed paints in OC so I thought I'd post a few of our sessions. (Sadly, her computer is busted right now, so no speedies ) These are all between 20-60 minutes. I'm always the one on the right, jent4ii is on the left.

I welcome any comments/critiques on these too.

well this has gotta be the coolest forum ever!!! big ups to conceptart.org!!!

i was just looking around the forums, and came upon the opencanvas thread! and i figured out what it does, and im so so so happy for this program. it sux that the latest version has to be bought, but how else are they gonna make any money. so heres my dilema...

i have a .wpe file ready for everyone to see, but when i upload it to the web space that i do have, it doesn't let me upload .wpe file types or something, cuz when i do upload the file right when it finishes it just disappears??? where do i upload my .wpe files. i actually tried to zip the file, and see if that would upload but that also didn't?? so im pretty clueless...

i do have the final still image, so im not leaving u guys withought anything. (off a reference pic, of a dude)

uh, just a question: how do those online sessions work (specifically, how do you start one)?

edit: i just found out how to start one with open canvas 1.1, now my question is if open canvas 3 still has this feature? (doesn't seem so)

Sadly, 1.1 was the last version that supported networking. I don't know why they took that feature out, as it's one of the coolest things about the program, IMHO. :/
