    Post Charcoal & Digital

Anthis: You always motivate me, yes I will be doing Character design too. i am exploring different styles mediums and stuff, can't stick to one style/ medium/ subject

Charcoal, I use medium intensity sticks of charcoals http://www.chenillekraft.com/site_me...hotos/9715.jpg Break it to smaller sizes for different areas. As for paper I haven't experimented lots of textured paper but smooth newsprint works fine for me, i just use lots of like 30 sheets under the sheet I draw, It gives some softness in the surface and gives more control for value control

Prisma, wow this pencil is legendary, for smaller studies on A4/A3 paper its awesome. It gives smooth lines and perfectly pressure sensitive medium. I use thin paper(for ink n wash) for such sketches. currently in love with prsima pencils.

    oncE again thanks mate

kevin_ & Grzessnik: am happy you guys like it! Grzessnik most of them are reference

portraits studies in the first image is in charcoals

    last two portraits are digital

You have showed up with a lot of love and butter, within your updates a ghost of the clocktower
can be felt. Picked up the blue pen and mayhem what you did. No matter how much you fight with
your dreams, they will always come back. Silently you are hiding and then suddenly pull out a full bucket
of muddy water from the enchanted well. Only a few of them can stand toe to toe with you, and you
always knew that. I admire your approach, in every aspect, the unholy inquisition will feel the sorrow.
You evolved so fast and in such an admirable fashion, when you take your pencil in your hand, you
feel the unstoppable power, it almost shines, your hand shines in the dark, your pen is sprinkling sparkles.
I love how you did everything and I expect even more, I know that you can do a mega blasting undertow.

That blue pencil is magical indeed. Discovered a shack full
of potatoes and cabbage you did. Beautiful female eyes and
a bold vise looking old man. Serenity and calmness I have
felt in your creative presence. If you keep it up like this,
pretty soon everyone will be highlighting your royal appearance.
I thank to the history and general timeline that I have
the honor to witness this great beauty.

This sketchbook is really fun to explore- I enjoy all the different approaches you take to drawing. Too many people get fixated on one style or them - great stuff

    Happy sketching!

You got some cool stuff going on here.
Especially fond of the imaginative landscape you made with the crustacean-like buildings.
The color palette on those images are great.

    Rock on!

Chocolate hot female faces appearing with their wet cocoa eyes, you know how to crack the
whip with your fantastic style. Double Life of Veronique is shining bright. Nice colors and
oily feeling from behind. ‘Whos that’ stylized girl portrait in #189 is a favorite of mine, true
fire in the rosebushes. Her look, oh it’s so good, she saw a big one, but her insecurity is
surfacing quietly. Your everlasting soul and creative destruction rode into the town with
big pride. Hail to the never dying king.

Scrolling down the page, your drawings and paintings are getting much more loose and organic; they're fantastic studies. The colour and strokes in your portraits look particularly lively too.

Wow. Only had a chence to check through your last page but whats here is amazing. Love your sense of colour and loose style. Really expressive and accurate at the same time. Those charcoal studies further up really got me thinking about how I make my own observations and studies, so thanks for posting and also for the comments you made in my SB. I really appreciated that. Thanks!
