damn dude nice start. i really enjoy the wor. your technique is very crisp and refreshing. you have a way with getting a very realistic likeness. the studies and repros from your link are very nice. on this page you have some very good work. im not a fan of hogarth but the studies are executed well. i cant wait to see more. do you paint?

i agree! great work. i allways enjoy looking at it. big respect for your patience, doing all those muscle-studies. i would go insane, working on such difficult details. and of course, the way you do hatching lines! man, i just can't stop wondering how smooth (can i say that? english is not my first language...) you hatch. you know my problems with hatching...

btw.: i love those cows. amazing. just imagine all the happy kids playing with them... :fruit:

hey there robolus, nice studies! ive been doing some sketches of muscles but just under the skin, i havent gotten around to looking at photos of how the actually muscle would look like on a person. also is those sketches of cows for that company that makes a candy called cow tails or something? its caramel and has white dot in the center?

its always good to see an artist who knows what hes doing, great to have you in here...
The thing that impresses me most about your work is the solidness to the forms..your shadings flow around shapes very much like Hogarth...
    keep posting m8.

metalwinds: Thank´s a lot man. I didn´t like Hogarth very much either. But Marko Djurdjevic gave me the advice to look again in the books, and he´s right, Burne was a good teacher.

Suder: Thanks my friend! Uh, I have the same problems like you with "Inglisch".

metal + Rusty: Many thanks for yor kind words!

lung_bug + Lady Lioness: These concepts are for "Milka", a german candy company.

    Hio Robolus,

fine stuff you´re presenting here. I´m not much of a fan of Hogarth - even if I have some of his books - but you´ve done some really good renderings. I especially like the second and the third portrait. They are showing a confident linework I envy you for. Have they been done before the model? They look like the result of a portrait study session.

    Nice to have you around!

    hi robolus!
it's great to see some of the portraits. i like them (and i'm proud to be the owner of one!) i was very impressed on how fast you do those portraits, capturing the main characteristics of the peroson in front of you. big respect, once again!

and, oh man, i love the boy with the head in his hands, grinning out of his costume. makes me smile!

Suder: Vielen Dank Alter! Ich wette die Karikatur hängt in der Gästetoilette!

I always thought, Marko has been showing himself too positively I like the cats you´re drawing, animals seem so difficult to me (and the reptiles of my GF are always hiding)

holy shneikies. that's more hands than I could possibly concieve. Did you use your own as ref or just make them all up? great studies, great sketches man. You got talent. great linework on the ink portraits too. Something I'm striving for lately. keep posting man, I love to see this stuff, it inspires me.
