    Red face Breaking the Balance

I just joined this site and thought i should jump right in and post something.

Edit: i wanted to leave this open for interpretation but It was suggested that i explain this concept.

This is done for collaborative project and there are series of illustrations. This is the 11th piece for the project. In the previous piece the boy seeks out to get justice...the symbol of justice is usually represtented with a scale; instead of a scale i used two swings attached to a tree. The boy is trying to get even for what the girl did to him (he is going to break a natural balance in order to achieve what he truly desires). I would post the entire thing but half the pieces in the project belong to my partner and they are not interested in posting online.

Wow, this is really a beautiful piece! I love your style... Did you want people to critique it? I can't think of anything to critique, really. And you're new, so... Uh, are you sure you're in the right section? ^_^

    Gorgeous stuff. Great work!

I'm not really getting it... Something about opposites? I would expect a boy who lives his whole life by moonlight to be rather pale. Bluishly pale. And what's the balance that's being broken? Maybe if you explain your concept it would be easier to understand?

Maybe I'm a bit jaded, but I would expect him to look something like this.

    looks good

I really like the stylization. However, I think the poses of the two characters tell nothing of their personality.
