hi there!

as you can see i'm new here, i didn't find a thread to introduce myself, so i've done a thread here to present myself and my paintings!
if i've done something wrong by posting my gallery here please tell me about it!

so for more about me:
toubab
23 years old
i'm french, so sorry if my english is bad sometimes!
i'm from Lille a city on the north part of France
and i'm studying in my fourth year in an Art university


and here we got some of my work!
i've taken lots of different paintings to give you an idea of what i do, hope you appreciate it, and don't hesitate to comment on it!

Sweet oils, man! Really nice finish, though you could use a look-over on your facial anatomy. You misplace the eyes and leave rather (unnaturally) long noses.

On a side note, you should attach the images to the post instead of linking them from an external site. Click "Edit message", "Go advanced" and then "Manage attachments" to upload them here.

Did I say the oils are sweet?

thank you for what you said, i was affraid about not being really wellcome on this forum, when my thread has been moved, i didn't know what it means so i though that my thread has to be deleted!lol

but now i understand what it means!

and sorry about linking images but it was a way for me to bring people on my gallery, as they can see other works that i've done if they want. but i'll find another way!
i didn't know that there was a "manage attachment" so i'll try with this now!

and finally here is new woman, it begins with nothing, no sketch, no lines, just colour's tasks. i was trying to get something interesting with nothing at first. it's not really nothing because i have a software and a graphic bar to draw with. but i was seeking about the process of abstract to figurative.

here is a new woman inspired by old works : http://toubab.deviantart.com/art/listen-68193890 and http://toubab.deviantart.com/art/diva-66014133 , i wanted to get the imposing and greatness side of "diva" with the dynamism and energy of "listen", so it gives this earth goddess captured in the ice.

Awesome work man! Your use of color and media is inspirational! Your anatomy needs work slightly..only slightly though.
