hi and welcome.
post more stuff.
i like the eyes,keep it up.
If you block in the pupils on those faces they'll look a lot more friendly.
Only 5 months you been drawing?? Seems like you could be a natural. Those are all pretty good. Are they all from ref, or just from your mind? I think I like that face in the middle the best.
keep it up man.![]()
First of all: I'm really sorry that I couldn't post anything for such a long time.
I was busy as hell and I used all the freetime I got to draw and not to surf the interwebs and scan my stuff...
@The Curehead: Thanks!
@Extent: Yeah I was too afraid to do that. I always thought I'd f*ck it up when I'd block in the pupils.
@Recluse: Thanks! I worked really really hard in those months to improve my drawing skills so I might not be that much of a natural after all. haha
Also I'm using references quite often but just very loosely. I'm training myself to do the stuff out of my mind so I really try not to use references too much.
Anyhow, I got some time again so I scanned some stuff I did in the past few days.
Out of my mind
some anatomy stuff
female heads (by far my favourite topic)
I also started drawing self portraits... still quite hard for me
(I actually got small ears)
My precious mp3-player and something I doodled before going to bed.
Well, thats it for now.
Some stuff I did this morning. Too bad I've got to learn for some tests ... uh, I hate school.
My coffee cup left a mark on paper so I used it for a little warm-up
eye study
doodling around
And a failure of a self portrait

hmm... du solltest mal versuchen mit weicheren bleistiften zu arbeiten. so 5-6b.
was nimmst du jetzt? 2b?
sind aber n paar nice sachen dabei!keep posting!
@DerMonkey: Danke!
Ich benutze eigentlich HB. Ich denke mal, dass einfach der Scanner an der "Härte" schuld ist. In rl siehts bei weitem nicht so hart aus.
In the last two days I mainly studied head proportions (based on Leonardo De Caprio) and some anatomy stuff. Well, I think I made some improvements regarding male heads. Thanks Leo!
referenced
without reference

In the last few days I mainly did some unshowable studies (again head proportion stuff and some anatomy) so I did a bit showable stuff today so I can keep my sketchbook up to date.
first one is one of those warm ups but I somehow liked it
(fucked up Davids right hand proportion-wise)
and another self portrait

trying to figure out how to shade things
some messing around

Awesome progres here. And in only five months? Just keep at it and you'll truely be awesome soon![]()
@Zombie_dla: Thank you! We'll see about that

Some doodling around without reference.
Don't mind the dirty paper. I had to play with the gamma because my scanner scanned the thing way too bright.
(boy, I have a thing for firy hair I guess)
Find deine Skizzen toll ;D. und 5-6 monate ... das ist wahnsinn ;D. & ne Frage.. hast nur mit referenzen gerlernt oder auch mithilfe von anderen lehrmitteln (bücher & co) ?. Wie gesagt echt gut..., garnicht auszudenken was du in 2-3 Jahren zauberst ;D.
Immer dranbleiben!
woops

Hey, that's a very good start, good values and proportions.
Keep up the good work.
nice work!
good shading technique you got going on there dude, tho it does look a little shiny at the mo, keep sharing ;-)
Very cool, I really like the first arm seen from behind and the last face. Very Nice. More Please.
sehr schöne anathomie studien. deine strichführung gefällt mir gut! da ist potential, da geht was!![]()
Good start! Post more!
Sorry for my bad english...

Facebook page
@saa: thank you!
@dameningen: thanks!
@RandAlThor: ah, that's because my reference was a ZBrush sculpt, lol. Actually just wanted to become more familiar with photoshop
@Penarow: thanks!
@DANKA: Thanks, I will
I just bought the "Atlas of Human Anatomy for the Artist" by Stephen R. Pecker.
Amazing stuff and I'm currently studying right out of it. Unfortunately I have no working scanner right now and I'm too lazy to ask a friend.
Anyway, I did some digital studies.... most of it is just too bad though.
Meh, I knew that it was going to be a bit frustrating to get back into drawing but I didn't expect that I'd have to climb up such a steep ladder.
Whatever, here are two studies and a speedsculpt I did recently
dude... sweet update... love that last page of faces... lots of variety.. more please.. :-0
Thanks RandAlThor! I'll definitely do more of those just because they are so much fun to do.
so uh, a study of a painting from Benjamin because he kicks so much ass... and some kind of a map for the face based on a sculpture. Meh, looks so wrong that I'll do another (better) one in the near future.
Thanks for the comments Tugelbend. You have some seriously mad skills mapping the human body.
Hey! Super cool stuff stuff here. Your muscle studies and ZBrush stuff is tops.
Man if I had a dime for every penis that snarled and said "Oi!"... well I'd have 10 cents about now.
