    tensai: hehe thanks for the boners

    KROGER: as I said over in your SB, you kick ass man, which makes your input all the sweeter

    JonathanS: Thanks man.....I totally thought you'd dropped off the face of the planet.....I don't seem to have been getting notifications from the mentor thread cause I just searched it out and it seems you posted in there about a month back...will get over there in a lil while and crit you up

    Dan:Cheers man-looking forward to some more sketch with ya some time soon, the recent ones have all been on days where im busy.

    Wow, I've been lazy at updating here....life in the big smoke has gotten in the way just a little-I'll hopefulyl get back into the habit of producing random doodles a little more.....some recent sketching from the last SB I finished and a quick doodle I did out of time for the stylised challenge:

    Ooo, how swanky. You've got a top-notch grasp of line and shape and make it look so easy! It seems like you've got the visual imagination to just avoid all the "sketch and re-sketch" we mortals have to do and just put the lines down right where you want them. Really, wow.

    This might seem a little incendiary to some, but I mean it as a compliment: These have real "hipster tshirt" potential. Wouldn't you get so many compliments wearing something with these pictures on it out to a bar or rock show?

    Khongco123:as I said in my PM...allll good, looking forward to seeing what you come up with, and which one you go with

    Frogisis:Thankyou....I like my hipster tee's. And as for my lines....often they seem to just go down wherever my hand heads off to, sometimes I don't think my brain is involved at all but thanks....it's not quite as easy when I'm out of my comfort zone though

    kidult-cheers man, more blue for ya...

    has been a while since I updated, a combination of work being mental, and me generally having fun and games here in the capital have meant that fun sketchy time has been restricted to the work side of things-but here's a few random doodles I've squeezed in. Many thanks to Kim for his help on the floaty creature pic.

    Yeah man, we need to sort something out soon!

    COW for this week and a saturday morning doodle....just something I accidentally drew for work and decided to play with, I really need to make time for fun doodles more often, work doodles have been monopolizing my time of late.

    I'm a fan! Your stuff is really fun to look at. Your style is unique. It's cool to see the design process through your pencil work. As for your paintings great use of color. Stuff like this that keeps me motivated to get better.

    Hey there Mr Neale

    those creatures on brown paper are looking uber cool, especially the top one - gives me that nice tingly ~oooooh~ feeling you get when looking at a piece of artists work which inspires you

    I think you need to petition for someone to come on here and crit you though, all this awe and admiration is all lovely but not really going to push you to improve even more is it! lol, surely someone out there is man enough to offer some cc? :p

    ~^-^~

    I checked out your sketchbook to see your COW WIP pics, but there's so much amazing work here apart from that! Your pen sketches are definitely cleaner than mine... I think I go crazy on too much mark-making ^^;

    I love your stylized creatures/characters! And you have a great sense of color, even from the beginning =P so no complaining about not having a clue about color theory, because you've got it!
