Cheers Lennon, appreciate your comments...and your right, I'm working on those issues. I just invested in more anatomy books (some Bridgman) and have been reading up on colour theory, as well as trying to put it all into practise...its a long process but I feel like I'm learning.

I've been pretty hardcore occupied by work last month or so, I'll hopefully be able to post some in here because I've had some super fun commissions-so although having way too many 14-16hr days and destroying my back, all is good. Not had as much time to spend on it as I'd have liked, but I think towards the end of December I'll have a good few days to spend on last man standing...some of these are for that, and some for other work related things. More, hopefully to follow soon.

Great characters dude! Especially like that last page, the expressions they have are really well handled.

Looking forward to seeing some of that other work you mentioned. Cheers

Thanks krossj, I still haven't got round to asking permission to show the other work stuff, which is still ongoing, but it will come.

Jonathan, cheers bro, glad you like em, the most recent stuff in your SB is really coming along, I will be popping over to give you a few notes very soon.

I just did this guy between work and mooching all over the place, I'm missing my fun random doodle time, but can't complain cause work has been busy, so all is good.

I had a nice long journey down to london for a friends birthday, during which I discovered that long legs alcahol and ice don't mix, (no more skating for me, ever...many bruised bodyparts followed), but the uber long train gave me time to look through some of my bridgman stuff and do some studies, so that was cool

and on the way back I had the same journey (though this time involved more sleeping than drawing), but I did get some christmas card sketches done (no I'm not going nuts, this time of year, randomly is the christmas card buying season at the big card shows, so have been knocking a few ideas about for my agency to go flog at the shows) (with random stuff thrown in)

Love your style man...creatures are awesome...also, good to hear you're studying about drawing the anatomy. One more thing to improve on should make you very diverse. Keep it up, i got your back.

wow, I really love some of your designs. Your characters have a lot of subtle personality, and a charming quality. A few of them remind me of something out of Invader Zim, or something of that nature. Keep it up, and thanks on the help with my SA Challenge. Good luck to you.

mythwork:Cheers...yeah my anatomy is lacking, really need to pull my finger out on that front this year.

Thanks Samantha, cute is what I like to aim for

Carbono:Thankyou, hopefully the style will continue to evolve.

Flipnastywebby:Yeah he's awsome...I picked up a book of his a few years back when I was in Paris, quality stuff

BohemianChaos:No problem got to love the SA challenges

Ok so I'm designing a tatoo for a friend, so the angel type stuff is for that, theres my last man standing, which turned out ok, I just wish I'd had more time on it, and the development of the gno.mon pic from above (which I forgot you cant type all in one go on here...hence the lack of the word in my earlier post):

Love your use of color and the edgy comic style..always been a fan of that!
Like others said before...anatomy studies are always good practice....however i'm enjoying your work a lot.

Maybe the last one looks a bit unfocused....i'm not sure if that's intended but in my opinion it would help to darken the foreground more...

    Keep it up!

pld: *drops all fear of alcohol theft and Ninja Skate attacks and replaces it with fear of falling over in awe of vastly superior artist*

I love your creatures especially the ones in post #98 and Bunny no.7, look at his inquisitive little face! look!!! *bless!* er, yep, definitely achieving the cute factor with them then I think

There was a guy at uni with me a few years back and his dad, Brian, is an amazing concept artist/illustrator, he worked on a film called the Dark Crystal, theres a book of his artwork for it and your creature designs remind me somewhat of his, so if you haven't seen it already I think you'd like it

Also are you familiar with Rodney Matthews and Greg 'Craola' Simkins?

there, your work reminds me of 2 of my very favourite artists and one who's up there in my top 10 so thats got to be a compliment right?
    get better or die trying....

Atastrophea: that's praise indeed... Yeah Brian Froud is sweet, not 100% into the style, but the dude has some serious tallent, Greg Simkins is one of my favourite artists for sure, and I didn't think I knew Rodney Matthews, but after checking out his site, I realised I have some of his stuff in my inspirations folder. Thanks for the kind words

ItalianHorsey:Yeah doing those 100 was fun, I had the intention of finalising some of them, but never did

Stylised animal, not sure if I'll use it, but was fun to do, I kind of have another in mind, but we shall see
