...and here's the final. Does anyone know how to make the pics you upload go one above the other rather than next to each other??..I don't like the side to side thing so 2 posts it is for the moment

Mate, that's awesome Believe it or not, I think it has to do with window size? On my 14" screen it's one above another, but on the 20" it's side to side.

You've got a nice variety of styles and subjects going. Your cel-shaded stuff looks like it's from some cartoon I REALLY wanna see. The only critique I have of anything is that the kick in your first post looks kinda awkward. Maybe some more gesture practice? Or maybe it's just one bad drawing... Anyway, keep it up, I'll keep an eye on you.

funfetus...cheers dude, and yes...I do need to practice my gesture drawing, and my anatomy in general-but I've been practicing a lot recently so hopefully I'll continue to improve

Cheers Stu....really glad you like the stuff, you have some sweet stuff in your SB. Ironically I want to do some more traditionally concepty stuff for my folio...we should just swap

Ratul....man I'm honored you'd subscribe to my humble sketchbook....I checked yours out and damn thats a lot of anatomy studies....great work doin all of those, I wish I could do more, I think it'd really help...you checked out Loomis' stuff?...thats helping me a lot.

Started out playing about with the COW theme (and kinda didn't realize the breif was 99 years...hence all those eyes) but kinda got side-tracked.

good work. I really like how you mix the illustrative line work with the more textural areas and shading.

I'm not sure if this is what you're after, but after you attach the images, if you click the little paper clip icon you can arrange them in your post (like put text between images etc, which can avoid them stacking next to each other).

Damnnn, great work bro, way to push those angles! "Fly Breeder" really sticks out for me.

oh man, i love the angle on the fly breeder piece, i think you pulled it off really nicely.

the neon monkey thingy is awesome too, has a strange feel to it, can't quite put my finger on it.

i'm doing perspective in uni now, i think its going well, i've actually learned someting from an art course! haha

    keep it up man!

Joe:Cheers dude...you get to take some of the credit

Grandmassa Mr. Spect:thankyou...I hope you like the lighting in this one, I think it turned out nice

ikuru:hehehe, sorry man but; "more people will come if they think that we have punch and pie"

frogSweat:thanks man, yeah those pics I'm fairly happy with right now. Good luck with the perspective, I'd love to dedicate more time to it, but the only book I have at the moment on it is a hardcore one I downloaded and I can't look at pdf book for any amount of time. If you learn any gems that may help pass em along....oh and sort your SB out dude!!..surely they got tinternet at uni?

Stylized animal for this month (it's a hyena...yes it is quite stylised, but I figure if the sloth in Iceage can look like a gerbal then this is all good):

Haha, yeah thats pretty stylized! but i'm down with it.. lol.

If i do get any gems i'll pass them up to you, dunno if i'll come across any though, seems pretty basic stuff so far, i need to do alot more research, i've run outta ideas for it! dang..
yeah they have tintehnet at uni, but i need my card first, and i have no idea how longs that gonna take, and i dunno if they have scanners there, but once my comps up and running i should be able to scan, transfer and upload, though the comps at uni are alot different to the ones i'm used too

i could send you pics in post though! haha
