Hi Guys,

I've put off getting a sketchbook thread going for too long. I'm an artist/animator and currently working as a concept artist for a video game company.

I'm hoping this thread will help me work out some of my many kinks and look forward to some good critique. Thanks in advance!

Holy cow!! This is like an avalanch of cool stuff, you can realy see that you are a professional. As for the "kinks" I would be hard pressed to presume to crit you. Love the Hyena/wild dog/ canine sketches. MORE if you please.

Woa! These are great! Are you adding the background to your sketches? I really like that idea. Gives your sketches a nice touch. If so, are you also composing these sketch images from several pages from your actual sketchbook?

The sketches are done in plain vanilla. I just hate looking at white most of the time so I combined some scanned textures for the backgrounds in these.

I love the character sketches. I love how you simply name the characters "the beast" and "the girl". It reminds me a lot of Okami and the Monkey Island series. Particularly the style is what sets it off. Lovely lovely drawings.

Probably the coolest first post i've seen yet on an sb. The development for the beast is really awesome, and the finished result is really tight. The variety and humor int he second set were cool too, some really nice rendering. Looking forward to seeing more, pretty inspiring stuff.
