I post these daily in sketchbooks, but just wanted to see what ye thought of them over here and, well, be critiqued.

Seems like you have been having fun with your face.

I noticed that at times you have some minor unintended proportional problems. The lines on the cartoony versions feel more... secure, on the realistic portraits there seems a bit more doubt.

I hope you'll continue doing these, as they seem quite fun and a good learning exercise.

You seem much more confident with your line quality in 9. And I like the experimentation in 12.

The best ones are the higher up ones.

8 you used a good method for teaching yourself planes, continue to do that.

1, 2, 8-love this one, 9, 12 - very nice, IMO your best ones. Looks like you've had fun! The experimental stuff is good, its nice to get it all out, so to speak. What about choosing a style, and progressing on that?

At the moment, the fun is taking over, so I'm not sure where you want to take all this. The first two portraits look promising as you know what your after when it comes to rendering in pencil. But a little more work in that area would go along way.

Well, if its just fun your after, then keep at it!

All have a scruffy , unfinished look. Not bad, but it would be nice to spend anothe hour or two on some of these images refining them. Most look like ten minute or half an hour jobs.

number 18 is my favorite, and i dont like the manga or anime path for you, the lashes really dont fit.
