These are som cool images, man, and great job on the paintings of the glasses. Glass is hard to paint, man, with all the light effects and still having to describe the shapes and curves of it, so good going!

Some a-level work i've been doin.
Should be a nice big update soon tho. These were a couple of studies, the big antler one is in acrylic and the other two the bottle and screw are done in oils.

WOW marked improvement over the past page. One crit, work on the female from and faces. You do wonderful at animals, I mean holy carp(yes I mean to spell it that way) you do really good at rendering animals... I'll have to post some of "my attempts" at animals just to show you... hehehe they will burn your eyes if you stare to long.. anyway I shall have some sketches posted this next week. This has been rather busy and i have been sick sooo, there's my excuse and I am sticking to it. anyway post more anatomy studies of chicks...I wanna see em.

spaztastic - Thanks, I'm glad you like my animal studies. Infact i am really pleased to find so many people commented that my animal studies are great, after all my goals is to become a creature artist.

I see what you mean about my females lol and i will indeed work on it and post more but for now your gonna have to be fed with these matte paintings.

Wow guys alot of replies since the my last update the word must be getting round that my sketchbook existes.

the acrylic painting is really amazing! Theres one thing about your still lifes: The ellipses, like on the bottle, are too pointy on the sides. See this image for example. The sides are always curved.

Thats the one thing i've noticed, good luck and keep painting!!

Just came back from an exhibition that one of my peices are in. I'll let the first image tell you about it (the poster for the event). The second picture is of my final peice i did for my a-levels. It was also the peice that got into the exhibition.

I got the best spot a well lit wall all to myself.

Sweetness, were you able to sell your pieces? and yes your GF is a cutie patootie. One comment about you matt piece the two floating islands. The little floating rock in the middle is frozen, wouldn't it be partially thawed on one side, since the island on the right is warm and the one on the left is frozen?
that's all I have to crit on for now. Sorry about taking so long I have had a hell of week. Lost my new computer... :'(

Great job using actual paints, I never really had much luck with them back in school. Probably why my grade for GCSE Art was a D. Though my paper mache fish came out less than desirable.

I love that tiger pencil drawing, as odd as it is that i've distanced myself from them, there is nothing like a good pencil sketch

And I did my GCSE's in 2003, I feel so old saying that heh

But alas, I'm 22, unemployed and dwelling in Finland now
